every time I see the promotion video of world cup, I would hate those bureaucrats of China national team once again and again and again……

India came into the tournament without much match practice and gained momentum as the tournament progressed. That's the best one can get with semi-professional players. Offence is still awful , if they can work on that maybe they can spring a few more surprises in the next Asia Cup.

Veisi is not a PG nowadays but he could do the job, now without him, we have only 2 guards left in the squad ! Mashayekhi as PG and Yakhchali as SG !
good game for Jamshidi today, hope he always plays in this level. when Memi benched all starters (probably to avoid more injuries) Jamshidi carried the whole team.

Iran no guards.. Philippines full of it..
The forwards would be the key hereTo becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Our players are inconsistent and if there is no more challenge they relax to the point of looking like they just wanted to exit the court and go somewhere else.

as much as i cringe at the sight of junmar on court, i really admire him as well as i see he is trying hard to play hard inside unfamiliar territory.. he is still adjusting to the height and heft of his opponents but he is really trying and trying..
unlike japeth who is on off on off off off...

imo, this tournament has shown than indian basketball is on the rise while japanese basketball is going downhill.
I wish the Lebanese NT could have played in this tournament even without the top players availableThere are many young new talents who had a great season in this years' Lebanese league and it would have been nice to see them gain some international experience and exposure via this tournament.

YOu guys were just too awesome, especially that #10 Yackchali teenager. Scary.
And this is not including names like Arsalan Kazemi, Amir Sedighi and Saleh Foroutannik just to name a few...
Guys like Mehdi Kamrani and Samad Bahrami can start thinking about retiring from the NT in the near future as there are capable Iranian young prospects who can fill their gap as of now and very near future.
Behnam Yakhchali's (197-SG-95) stats for today:
18 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3PT FG, 2-2FT), 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 0 Turnovers in 30:43 minutes of play!
