I think PNoy that time is not ready to handle a country, I think he should run as VP first than running for president... PNoy will might beat Binay for VP in a landslide fashion while Roxas can beat Erap and Villar for presidency.. I think it will wise move that time if they not rush PNoy to run president at 2010...
Noynoy only became relevant due to the death of his mother in 2008. LP capitalized on that event which led to the anointed son winning the elections in a landslide manner. Delaying his candidacy for the presidency will only do harm to his political image would be cold by 2016 as Cory magic would have been irrelevant after 6 years. Noy was at the right moment at the right time in 2010.

fyi i hate both pinks and red equally

Edit: Noy would beat Binay for VP in 2010 definitely, LP will milked Cory's death to ensure Noy's victory. But i doubt this will help Noy win the 2016 presidency

Sige, ABS-CBN and Rappler is biased (I personally go to the papers), but what do you call SMNI and Rigoberto Tiglao? Flat-out libel.

One of the few cases where I see libel and defamation paying off. It's pissing me off. Morality's kinda low these days.

So much for being a Catholic nation, but many become un-Christian just to help their candidate win.

As a Catholic, I'm not perfect, but just disappointing to see.

time to leave this god forsaken country, none of these candidates will truly serve the country as they are just puppets of warring oligarchs

Galit ang mga tangang ito sa mga oligarch & elitista but don't realize that the Marcoses & families/clans allied to them are elitists & oligarch. Look who are allied with BBM & inday Sara right now? The Macapagal-Arroyos, the Estradas/Ejercitos, & the majority of the most powerful political clans & dynasties in the Philippines. And these BBM & Inday Sara supporters think that they are going to bring about big changes in Philippines governance.

I say same old same old yan. Its just a cycle. Yung mga corrupt & abusado eh mananatili pa rin sa Philippine politics.
I hope people will see this. Plus, if Bongbong wins, the rest of the world will see him as unreliable. We have no one but China to turn to, and we know how China operates. We'll be fucked.

Do U think Mar Roxas would have won against Manny Villar at that time? Malakas si Manny Villar prior to Noynoy Aquino's decision to run for presidency.

I doubt it very much if Mar would have beaten Villar at that time.

Mas malakas pa si Erap over Villar eh... Nadala lang when Pres. Cory died... LP should not hurried things up and better put PNoy as VP to prepare him for 2016 elections... Du30 will never show up sana and BBM will not as popular as it as today...
I think most of us here would disagree with what you've said bro.

BTW, I think Erap turned out to have gotten more votes than Villar becoz maraming Filipino na magboboto sana kay Villar (prior to Noynoy Aquino's decision to run) shifted to Noynoy Aquino when Aquino decided to run.

                  • Sec. 27 of RA 10368 says that The Human Rights Violations Victims Memorial Commission shall also coordinate and collaborate with the DepED and the CHED to ensure that the teaching of Martial Law atrocities, the lives and sacrifices of HRVVs in our history are included in the basic, secondary and tertiary education curricula.

OK na sana, it's just not implemented.

Better had we enacted a law similar to Germany's anti-Holocaust denial law.

I hope BBM doesn't find a way to change the constitution. Our only saving grace is he's limited by a single-term presidency.

My worry is that we might be too beholden to China under his term. The US might not trust him.

Luckily he didnt inherit the brains of his dad. though this could mean that those around him will just pull the strings. I'm going to put my trust now in our democratic institutions, i think that's the best thing to do now.

Side note, wow 3 straight elections with the same outcome for the LP, i guess their campaign cry since 2016 only worked for a niche market.
another side note: Senator Robin Padilla, enough said
