What's bad about Bongbong here is that, aside from the history and the kind of Senate he has, and the lack of platform, he's defeatist on the issue. I been reading things that he's backed by China. Oh, boy.

A lot of people voted for BBM last time but more voted for Leni. There were many who voted for Duterte but not for him. Of course if you were not affected during Martial Law you had no problem. My father was imprisoned because he was at a party where a suspected CPP member attended. My grandmother looked for days for him. It was good that my grandfather knew somebody and they were tipped in his location or else I eould not be here as he would be among the many missing during ML. My grandma told me my father said nothing but he was red all over, probably from torture. He just gave her a paper quoting a bible verse, "God is my sheperd, I shall not want" They were devout protestants. Although my father was an activist never did he advocate for the overthrow of the government. Not once. It doesnt mean if you protest that you are the enemy of the state. Marcos didnt care. Again how about the Aimee protester who got beaten near to desth?

From all accounts you could not say anything bad about the government. There were agents everywhere. It got so bad that people bought the Jingle magazine to get some humor. All news were approved by the government.

It is okay if you agreed with the government. If you didnt it was not probably a good life then.

Even Duterte gives us the freedom to disagree with him to protest against him. Not Marcos.

Honestly, I’m not ready to jump on the Leni bandwagon. Dunno but it’s a wait and see for me. I’m still having hangovers from PNoy’s administration. Leni’s party appears to be the sort who say the right things in front of you but has a knife concealed that’s ready to stab you in the back.

On BBMs certificate, I dont know why Oxford accepted him in their MBA but his first choice was Wharton. From the found letters, Marcos leveraged his connections to get BBM in to Whartons MBA. I dont know why he didnt get in. But maybe connected to why he wasnt able to finish the Oxford MBA?

I want to see the guy in a live televised debate. Not the recorded stuff that he could have prepared a thousand times for or maybe even edited. We have a right to see how are likely future president thinks under pressure. Frankly its scary if he does indeed stammers unintelligibly under pressure. It might be Aimee who will rule us not him.
