      'NegOcc to upgrade Panaad'

AFTER the Asean Football Federation (AFF) has declared Panaad Stadium in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City unsuitable to host the much-awaited AFF 2010 Suzuki Cup semifinal match between the Philippines and Indonesia on December 16 and 19, 2010, the provincial government of Negros Occidental is looking forward of upgrading the sports facility and meet the international requirements.

According to Provincial Sports Coordinator and Executive Assistant Angel Verdeflor, Panaad Stadium has an international-standard football field however needs to work on its lighting and setting capacities being among the reasons AFF excluded from the lists of venues for the said hostilities.

Verdeflor further disclosed that during his conversation with Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Richie Garcia, the latter stressed that since Panaad do not have passable lighting capacity, international media groups that cover the event live likewise have poor coverage output.

Meanwhile, AFF has already come out with the schedule of semifinal matches and venues.

Unfortunately, our Philippine team will be playing in the opponent's field on December 16 and 19, in the Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.

Anyway, the Philippine United FC is just a football club composed of Filipino and Filipino-descent players in Britain... they are not really a national team but the club is a potential source of players for the national team in the future...

although, I prefer Filipino players that learn their skills from the English club academies (e.g. Younghusbands, Etheridge, etc..)

                • OT! But related to Philippine football..^^ we won in our 2nd match earlier this afternoon versus College of Medicine with a score of 1-0.. It was a highly physical game (on their side) as I was caught with a super late slide tackle, got my two legs up and fell on my butt-back-and-head in that order, with the ball not with me anymore as I have cleared it already, with no foul called.. Then next play I gave the guy a little shove.. He fell easily and I was called for a foul! There was also an I-was-covering-the-ball-while-running-when-he-intentionally-stepped-on-my-back-heel-and-I-rolled-over incident which was also called as a no foul.. Then I was caught by two more harsh tackles and yes, no foul called.. As a result, I have a Salonpas put on my neck.. and with a few scratches.. A lot of my teammates were in the same state as me but I wasn't as hurt as them because my body is sort of used to the body-bumping of basketball.. the ref was not with us that game as the calls didn't get our way.. Though we caught them with LOTS of offside traps.. Now we are sure of a semis slot with one more game in the group stages..

Now if they read this, would they want to play football??

We were also like the Azkals as a lot of my teammates played sick during the game..

it seem almost all of football federations in South East Asia lead by rotten personality,
for example the chairman of Indonesian Football feds was jailed because of corupption in his bussines with the goverment, not to mention he also stealing money from the football feds, but strangely he could walk-away from all of that.

this's why, one of the hardcore ultras in Indonesia BONEK (supporter of Persebaya FC) collected money from their members and sent delegations to swiss, straight to FIFA headquarter to protest about that.

Pinoys in Swiss ( whom I heard much more than Indonesians) should start the same thing although I highly doubt the effectivity of that protest because FIFA is the same corrupt organization

Opponent Philippines, Riedl Wants Attacking National Team
Riedl has set some strategies to defeat the Philippines.

VIVAnews - coach Alfred Riedl, do not want to waste my decision to hold the party home Philippines AFF Cup semi-final 2010 in Indonesia. Conversely, Riedl was eyeing victory in those two games.

Philippines dinayatakan could not hold a home game for not having an adequate stadium. Philippine Football Federation (PPF) had decided to move it to the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta.

Riedl did not want to waste this opportunity. After leading the national team training in Senayan, Saturday, December 11, 2010, Riedl told reporters say they want to reap the victory in two games later.

"Should we live one match away in this semifinal. But we will play home twice and we will try to win both. We will look to attack," said Riedl.

Riedl has set some strategies to defeat the Philippines. One way is to exploit the attack of the wing.

"As you saw earlier, we are trying to finalize a cross-court passes from both sides of the field. This is the key to win the game versus the Philippines," said Riedl.
                          VIVAnews

is there a way we can give this to the AZKALS?

                            • And the mudslinging begins! Here some of Martinez' supporters rebuttal on the issue. I would say that all of their rebuttal is inconclusive due to that he cannot answer where did the money go that was sent by FIFA, why no text or even a call was given to the team and why does he want to destroy this very successful team.

First rebuttal, just destroying the image and confidence of our Player Ali Borromeo.

Our sources say that this malicious campaign to remove Martinez as president has been going on for a long time and was spearheaded by man called Borromeo (father of Aly Borromeo, player of National Team). Borromeo and Martinez were friends and quite close once upon a time. Borromeo is a" king maker". He supported the candidacy of Martinez as president of PFF thinking that he had a great influence over Martinez. The rift began when Borromeo realized that Martinez refused to be a puppet president and be controlled and dictated to do the whims of Borromeo. It was a bad seperation and a source said that Borromeo since then vowed to do everything possible to have martinez removed.

A source said that Martinez was a professional football man that inspite of the attacks that Borromeo hurled towards Martinez, Martinez made sure that it would not involve or affect Aly Borromeo who was in the National Team. Another source said, Aly Borromeo was always a cocky, medyo mayabang guy and always thought he could get away by doing anything he wants even disobeying rules of the team and get away with it because his father was in power then. It was always that way in the past PFF administration. He felt untouchable until Martinez became president and changed all the corrupt system in PFF. Aly Borromeo toned down when he realized his so called antics would not work
Second Rebuttal, Palami is also like Me (Mari Martinez) este, Graham Lim yet he cannot prove how and why is Palami rotten.

An inside source said that Palami who makes himself look like a hero to the Phillippine Team and to media is not low profile as everyone thinks. A soure said that he smells so good now to everyone but Palami inside is rotten. He was part of the plan to make sure that Martinez would be hated by everyone. including the Philippine Team that had a good relationship with Martinez. Palami has even made sure that martinez cant get near the team by housing them in his Dasmarinas home. This sounds fishy to me if i may comment.

Sources say that Martinez has always been a professional football man and has always worked for football not for money. A source said that Martinez was considered the "Mr Football" during his time and has always dreamed that football would be the number one sport where Filipinos can excel because he saw it during their time.

Sources said that Martinez will not play dirty against his detractors the way they have maliciously tried to destroy him and his family. He will deal with facts.
A source said that Palami better be careful with what he has been accusing PFF. Palami might be up there because he has stepped on and destroyed someone unjustly. A source said, "SAVIOR, he is not, savior maybe if he starts to be truthful and just and selfless! He does not even know what it is to truly sacrifice. He is not a football man! Palami should not get all the credit. Give credit to where credit is due!"
THird, Why can't we just all unite for pinoy football? Answer sir is that we are uniting it against you!!!

As we were observing all of this, we throw a question to all of you. Why can't you all work together to make football what it should be in the country. Why does everybody want to be in the limelight. It"s too hot there anyway. If everybody just worked selflessly together then we will be great in football. Does it matter who gets the credit.

To the Philippine Football Team who has made us proud, do not allow yourselves to be polluted by people around you. Do not allow yourselves to be used for their own benefit. Stay true to the game and true to yourselves. Open you eyes to the truth. Be true to football. Kudos!
Again, this one has no sense, it can't explain where did the missing funds end up!

All the ones that have commented here with your foul mouth and malicious tongue ay talagang halatang halata na galing sa campo ng Araneta. Magkano ba ang binayad sa inyo!
Down With You Mr. Martinez! You have been sitting in the PFF for how many years, you haven't done anything except to fatten up your bank account! Shame on You!
