slim chance to qualify to next stage. its a proof that PHL football still have a long years to grow to dominate our closes neighbors but this should not hinder us to just stop. reality check is not a fairy tale story but its the result of their hardwork and passion for the beautiful game. Football is sometimes even the elite big clubs gets an upset loss. we should continue supporting them in anyway and not pull down their efforts.

I'm not surprised. It goes to show that Boom Gonzalez, TJ Manotoc and a bunch of other morons from ABS-CBN does not know how to do a commentary on any sport.

I'm not a UAAP/NCAA fan but whenever I watch a game or two, these commentators simply ruin the entire game for the viewers. I find it stupid enough that our collegiate players keep thinking themselves as celebrities rather than athletes. Now we're seeing the same idiots do the commentary for football.

Why can't we have more Richard Del Rosario commentators out there?

after the first half of this Myanmar game... it somehow made me wonder what would McMenemy do. the beauty of his ugly defensive style is that it suited the overall talents of the Azkals well. in the first 10 minutes alone, the left winger of Myanmar made Gener look like his bitch while the guy on the right midfield made Del Rosario look like a grade school player. if it wasn't for Etheridge, they'd be down by 2 early.

i'm very impressed with this new guy Guirado. once Phil Younghusband comes back, i'd take Araneta out of the starting 11.

a good part of that 2nd half was a completely different Azkals team... they just flat out dominated Myanmar even before the red card on the goalie. it's just unlucky that they scored an equalizer at the end. i'm now curious how the Palestine game ended 0-0 when we have someone like Guirado easily getting through defenders and delivering his passes better than anyone else.
