            Semifinals so far:

Peñarol 2 - Regatas 0 (two tight wins, with Regatas players slowed down by injuries)

Libertad 2 - Boca 0 (two crushing wins; Boca is simply sucking right now)

El Nacional/Monte Hermoso (beach city of nearly 7000 -that's right, no zeroes missing- located near Bahía Blanca, city where the club is originally from) earned the promotion to LNB A after sweeping Olimpia Venado Tuerto 3-0. Olimpia's roster included veteran SF Jorge Racca (former Gran Canaria, Greek league, Reggio Calabria, Napoli, Tenerife and National Team among others) in the last game of the series.

                    Sorry, my fellow users!

Today the Finals started, and Boca shocked Peñarol 61-57 in Mar del Plata, in front of 7000 Peñarol fans.

(And yes, Boca turned around the series against Libertad, from 0-2 to 3-2. Boca also did this in the quarterfinals against Ben Hur)

Boca Juniors completed a stunner, winning the Finals 4-2 in an incredibly even series:

                      Peñarol 57 - Boca Juniors 61
                      Peñarol 77 - Boca Juniors 75
                      Boca Juniors 57 - Peñarol 58
                      Boca Juniors 77 - Peñarol 74
                      Peñarol 58 - Boca Juniors 66
                      Boca Juniors 89 - Peñarol 81

PF Leo Gutiérrez was declared Finals MVP because of his 15.5 ppg, and his Game 6 performance: 22 pts and 6/6 threes.

The trend of foreigners being signed and released is really amazing. Just for this holidays, players like Jason Keep, William Sanders and Dionisio Gómez got cut. But the new signings aren't bad (Chris Jackson, Larry Florence, Robert Battle and Dionisio Gómez himself ).

Plus, during december many good Americans were released (Silas Mills and Raheim Brown are some examples; Mills wound up replacing Brown). It seems that coaches either don't know what they need from them, or perhaps they don't know who they are signing.

The ggod thing is that a new rule allows teams to sign players who already played for other LNB clubs. Some foreigners who played for two teams are Maurice Spillers (Ben Hur and Boca), Jamar Brown (Atenas, Ben Hur and Gimnasia CR, they all released him), Chima Igwe (Belgrano and Ciclista, both released him), Gómez and Mills.
Yep, my fault..., Sorry everyone I'been busy during the past six months, but from now on I'll start posting again.

I want to welcome Alermac who is very respeced in Argentinian basketball forums
