The craziest pointy goatee in european basketball decided to retire. I read that the reason he decided to retire was that Slask was unwilling to further his contract and given that he did not want to play elsewhere he had no other choice by to give an end to his career. After his return from Provicence in the NCAA he spent all of his remeining careed in the Wroclaw club winning 8 PLK titles and participating numerous times in the Euroleague.

I was a fan, maybe not so much of his skill but definately of his fresh ideas regarding facial hair. :D He was my first ever avatar in IBN.

16 season, and 8 championship tittle - such balance has Maciej Zielinski in Polish league. Popular "Zielony" all 16 seasons spent in Slask Wroclaw !!! In last season he averaged 5.7ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.2apg.
