Because they scare to face Taiwan, the only way to guaranteed Japan can advance will need to put China Korea Taiwan in the same group.

Can you please elaborate the groupings made in this tournament I think taiwan is in trouble because you are grouped with korea??

If you lose in this tournament so the stankovic cup is the major tournament left for you??
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
        1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Well it's just my prediction at moment, the host Japan hasn't divided the group yet.
Anyway we don't care about it, because we don't scare to play anyone and we won't lose it. China won't send team A to this tournament, therefore nevermind.
I believe stankovic cup will become Japan's major tournament, ha ha ha!

those who fail to qualify in this tournament would just have to try again in 2011, the qualifiers from the stankovic cup is already set.

In the first day Taipei's fate will be known..

It is tough for them they had to prepare for only 10 days(especially their korean coach) if they do not qualify expect a lackluster jones cup(the filipinos are the only crowd drawers) because their best players tien lei and chen hsin(not only in the court also their most popular players) may opt not to play. They can't win in booming threes here and there
And an interesting note the major audience of the sbl are girls..

no offense but the last time you sent a B-team in an international competition it got blown to bits by "lesser" teams.
