Also Joel Box, F/C 205cm / 120kg arrived to join Blue stars, probably replacing William Byrd for simply technical reasons, Blue stars needing a center after the season ending injury for Ahmed Ozeir

Ron Alexander will be the team center. coming from the Cyprus league where he wasn't able to play with AEK over there because Anibal refused to grant him with his release. After tough negotiations Anibal allowed him to play there only one game (that was yesterday). His team lost by one point but Ron was the game top scorer.

No more Lucious Wagner, they released him,
and they are also releasing the new guard they got: Belton Rivers who was in the game vs Riyadi, probably the worst import I have ever seen play in Lebanon.

              thank you khalid.
yes Belton rivers is very bad...mike fraser is really good and he can fit the team really well, looking forward to see the new center of Blue stars.
after a small research about joel box ,he had 5.4 ppg , 3.6 rpg in the NCAA with New Mexico.

Men's Basketball: Joel Box Unhappy with Playing Time, Quits Lobos

              Associated Press
New Mexico forward Joel Box, who saw his playing time steadily diminish this season, has quit the team, the school said Tuesday.
"I just came to the decision over the Christmas break that I wasn't going to return,'' Box said in a statement issued through the university. "I have goals I'm trying to reach, and I don't see myself reaching those goals playing six or seven minutes a game.''
The 6-foot-8 250-pound Box transferred to New Mexico after averaging 18.9 points and nearly 12 rebounds a game last year at John Wood Community College in Quincy, Ill. Box was named the Collegiate Conference of Central Illinois Player of the Year.
Box was projected as a starter for New Mexico coming into the season and was expected to fill the forward spot vacated by NBA first round draft pick Danny Granger. But Box never got into the starting lineup and when he did get into a game didn't get much extended playing time.
He averaged 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds while playing an average of just under 10 minutes a game.
"We're disappointed that Joel has decided to leave,'' said New Mexico coach Ritchie McKay. "He said he was unhappy. In terms of how it relates to our team, we will continue to nurture an atmosphere of preparation and investment in the program.''
Box is the second player to quit McKay's team this month. Forward Anthony Teague, also a junior college transfer, left the program after playing a total of just eight minutes this season.

Dani from what source did u get the height of the players?
I know David since he was with me in University and he was my height (186-187). What's great though is that he has an amazing vertical leap and he was able to win the Adidas Streetball slam dunk competition that happened many years ago (I think it was in 2000 or 2001 outside the Forum de Beirut).
I'm also pretty sure that Joe is around 191-192.

I tried searching in Sagesse's website but couldn't find the updated roster with the players heights but thanks anyways.
What I think is happening is that players tend sometimes to exaggerate a bit about their heights (like what happens in China, but at least we don't change our date of birth )

I don't know why bro. Even Khatib is mentioned as 198 even though he's really 196. 2 cm difference is ok but more than that becomes inaccurate. The reason why I am bringing up this issue is cuz i asked David once about his height and he told me it's 187.
