PLEASE READ: XXX Private Messages/Spammer

Looks like we are having issues with a Spammer hacking into accounts and sending XXX private messages. Please don't reply or respond, in all likelihood, it wasn't that member but a hacker/spammer.

Please forward any of these type of spam PMs to me or any of the moderators. Please include the original message, when it was sent, and by whom. We think we may have stopped the problem, but need to know if anyone has received any more of these messages.

Additionally, it seems to me that three or four (possibly many more) members have had their accounts broken into. And these aren't just old unused accounts, a couple of these members are upstanding interbasket members.

If you are one of them, or you are concerned about your account, now would be a good time to change your password (generally something 0-8 characters with alpha-numeric).

Also, if you use an internet cafe to access Interbasket, make certain to log off your username when you leave the cafe.

I' am so sorry. I really don't know who sent that message. But last week, I encountered problems with my PC, My drive C: was lost due to virus, so My only option was to format my PC.
