            Day 1:
            Puerto Rico : New Zealand 82:74 (12:18, 29:36, 55:56)
            Slovenia : Iran 96:71 (75:52, 48:33, 24:15)

As expected... although I have to add that New Zealand gave Puerto Rico a decent fight and led untill end of third quarter.

very close game, IRN held a 13 or 15 point lead.

                    The NZ comeback

Iran will lose to NZ. Kirk Penny is back and he will out shoot everyone in this final game.

                        Alpos

I was there and I must say that NZ and Iran are a little bit too shooting oriented teams IMO. Penney has such a sweet hand...tho
I like the NZ guards and Iranian ones were pretty decent too, but not as succesfull in their three pointers as they were against SLO. NZ killed Iran with at least 4-5 straight 3's at the end in a row.
Not my way of building a tactics but…they are good. I wish them well against Germany and I think they might beat them*
The second game was different in many aspects. I strongly believe that coaches didn't put the best possible men in, in the second part. (The whole last 16mins were played by Slovenia with their »second« team). Arroyo is awesome and deserves all the respect from me. He scores when he decides!! and there are few guards in the world that can stop him. I wonder when will he finally made his real mark in the NBA. Big two PR men are very good even from the FT line. Ayuso we know from playing in NLB - only needs 0,5m and 0,5 seconds to shoot and score. The rest of the team is much more questionable. One even dangerously fouled Dragic while he tried to dunk …
I won't touch our team, I just wish them luck. Many good fighters and good shooters, some great centers and guards – we will see…
