nice ! iran is the host and have a strong team with superleague players. they dominated WABA U17 Champs last year in Tehran.

I hope for iran's second title. beating Iran in Tehran is very difficult.

        Iran 83 - Syria 58
        Iran 118 - Jordan 80
        Iran 99 - Iraq 56
        Iran 97 - Lebanon 50
        Iran 117 - Yemen 52

It's probably Iran, Lebanon, and Jordan who will qualify.

Perhaps but I don't Jordan might compete. I haven't seen them in the Asian Junior Championships in the 2004 and 2006 edition.

As for our team, don't expect too much from us. Our Junior NT has like only 5 months to prepare. Don't worry, we'll give you guys one hell of a match if we ever meet.

5 months is enough to be agreed on the performance of the group of players.
Lebanon NT for men were always start training before 1 month.
Good luck for all the asian national teams.

Yeah but the problem is that our Junior team coach hasn't finalized the players who will play for the team yet. In my opinion, I think they might invite some ball clubs for them to play with like Al Riyadi.

In my opinion, many team only have 3 or 2 months to prepare.
For example we don't know who wil be china U18 team's coach,at present
and we hasn't finalized any players either.

2006 19th FIBA Asia U18 Championship china Junior team finalized the coach one and a half months before the Championship.
4 main force players include CHENGJIANGHUA rejoined the team 1week before the Championship.
                          We won the first finally.
so your RP Junior team has enough time to prepare.
