Leb U18 NT: the road to the WC has begun

The Lebanese Junior National Team have stated its preparations for the WABA Junior championship which will be held in Yemen from May 12 till 16 , this second round of WABA is a qualification round to the FIBA Asia Championship for Junior Men.

For this reason the National started its preparations on Sunday December 9th under the commands of coach Rizkallah Zaloum , the new coach have invited back all the players that were part of the program last summer and they are joined by the key players who missed the first phase of the event which was held in Iran and Lebanon had finished third.

The National Team will play in the Lebanese second division championship and will undergo some internal and external training camps in order to be ready for the May event.

Elie haber is the 2.18 cm,he back for the states few weeks ago and joined our NT.
One of the reasons for the bad performance in Waba last year that we were relying on just 1 center Jad mbarak who doesnt have a substitute.Now even if we have 2 centers but also we have lack in centers,but anyway hopefully Elie Haber will be good.
Also unfortunately 4 of our best players cant play with the NT this year :Rabih Iskandar(212cm), Ahmad ibrahim,Amer Saoud and Bashir Saad.
Yesterday i talked Jad mbarak (Youth NT) and he told me that iran youth NT are too good, they've been practicing together for more then 2 years and they are following their players from early ages.

Honeslty i dont have any infos about him cz he comes lately to Lebanon,he can be the essentiel player not obligable a substitute to Jad.I will try as i can to get more infos about him.All these infos that have been posted here i got it from the players themselves.The NT trainings are very secret so for these reasons no one knows so much infos.
