I think Supersport will show it.
I think Pao will win, cause Spurs don't pay much attention to their pre-season matches and even last year they didn't have a good record in the preseason.I don't think all their stars will play for long."The worst part is wondering how you’ll find the strength tomorrow to go on doing what you did today and have been doing for much too long, where you’ll find the strength for all that stupid running around, those attempts to escape from crushing necessity, which always founder and serve only to convince you one more time that destiny is implacable, that every night will find you down and out, crushed by the dread of more and more sordid and insecure tomorrows.~Céline

Originally posted by MarbleFedfan, do you remember reading or hearing something specific about Supersport broadcasting the game? Because I had read that due to the special 'character' of these particular games, PAO would sell the rights to an 'open' channel (eg ERT or SKAI). It would be a pitty not being able to watch these games.."The worst part is wondering how you’ll find the strength tomorrow to go on doing what you did today and have been doing for much too long, where you’ll find the strength for all that stupid running around, those attempts to escape from crushing necessity, which always founder and serve only to convince you one more time that destiny is implacable, that every night will find you down and out, crushed by the dread of more and more sordid and insecure tomorrows.~Céline

CG, not only is San Antonio one of the best organized teams on the court, but they also have the best organized management. That is why San Antonio was able to identify so many great players. Even San Antonio's bench could beat some NBA teams...heck their third point guard, Beno Udrih, could start on man NBA teams! Don't under-estimate their bench, man!
Also, Pao has two big disadvantages:- they will be playing outside of their time-zone...they'll have bad jet-lag
- they won't have much time to practice together (unlike San Antonio, which has a core group that's been together for 4 years)
I predict a San Antonio victory. After Jasikevicius and Spannoulis are on the team for two or three months, and Pao would win.
--Matt"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas

Why this topic?
San Antonio is NBA champion. They play at home by their rules. So they'll win. Not even considering jet lags and the fact that PAO will have to play the Rockets.
Pao deserves respect. They have a great team. Possibly one of very few in European history which might be able to play in NBA level. But come on. Let's not exaturate.PAO EUROPEAN CHAMPION 1996 - 2000 - 2002 - 2007 - 2009 - 2011

Alvertis has been there for 16 years, Diamantidis 3 years, Batiste 4 years, Hatzivrettas 4 years, Tsartsaris 5 years.
Spanoulis was on the team a year before leaving for NBA. Dikoudis and Tomasevic have been playing together in a previours club.
Don't NBA clubs start training on October 1st?

Spurs is taking their game Vs Pana so seriously that they took the day off yesterday and played golf...
By the way, Diamantides will be the Pana captain these two games Vs NBA teams although there are other players who have been in Pana for longer.

I hope Pana play better than they did against the Rockets.
They where outclassed in that game. I think it is pretty tough trying to beat the NBA teams in there own back yard, especially with the NBA rules.
However they must try to put in a respectable performance.
I do believe Pana where desperate to beat the Rockets, you could see it in the players and coaches faces.
Anyway i also believe that if say the game with any of the NBA teams was over a 5 game series then Panathanikos could take some games off these teams at home, with 20,000 fans in Athens.
I must add that the referees in the last game where extremely fussy with some of the calls against Panathanikos, which is strange when you think of what they usually let go in NBA games..

I don't know if should stay up for this..Last time I did for the Rockets,I was furstrated, shouted and woke up the next door neighbours. And was too angry to sleep after.:/"The worst part is wondering how you’ll find the strength tomorrow to go on doing what you did today and have been doing for much too long, where you’ll find the strength for all that stupid running around, those attempts to escape from crushing necessity, which always founder and serve only to convince you one more time that destiny is implacable, that every night will find you down and out, crushed by the dread of more and more sordid and insecure tomorrows.~Céline

Panathinaikos didn't want to play those games. It's an obligation for the club because he is the european champion. That's why they let go the game at last minutes...

Maybe they should stop playing a zone defense in the next game to avoid loosing the rhythm in the game by these annoying defensive 3 second violation calls.
Panathinaikos should be strong enough to play 48 minutes man to man defense. You live with the Freak you die with the Freak!!!
