    What is 'Ulker' ?

    Seems they are financing the big rivals, Fener, Galata and BJK.

      Yes, they are. Although the given amounts are not equal.

      Ülker Co. is the biggest food company in Turkey.

          I'm not sure about tea, but Ülker is producing almost every kind of food that you can find in bottles, cans or boxes. Not kebab... that's some experts' job... like the ones in Adana .

              TTnet & Beykoz deal is now confirmed.

              I read somewhere that Vestel wanted to be the sponsor of Galatasaray, however the federation did not allow that due to an agreement between TBF and Beko, which is the name-owner of the Beko Basketball League (Both Beko and Vestel compete in the same business fields). Then Ülker group increased their financial support a little, and Galatasaray agreed to continue with Cafe Crown.

                Opel Turkish Cup

                The new main sponsor of Turkish Cup is Opel. The deal between the bball federation and the automative company covers both men's and women's cup tournaments in 2007-08 season. The former sponsor was Tadım.

                  Darüşşafaka signed a 1-year sponsorship agreement with Çelik Motors. Thus, they will compete as Darüşşafaka Cooper Tires in TBL next season.

                    So we've come to 2011, and most of the teams continue with their sponsors. The current situation:

                    Fenerbahçe Ülker (Ülker)
                    Galatasaray (Cafe Crown --> Ülker)
                    Beşiktaş (Cola Turka --> Ülker)
                    **Efes Pilsen (Efes Pilsen --> Anadolu Group)
                    Türk Telekom Ankara (Türk Telekom)
                    Bandırma Banvit (Banvit poultry)
                    Karşıyaka (Pınar --> Yaşar Holding)
                    Oyak Renault Bursa (Oyak Renault)
                    Tofaş Bursa (Tofaş FIAT)
                    Erdemir Eregli (Erdemir)
                    Olin Edirne (Olin Oil)
                    Aliaga Petkim (Petkim)
                    Medical Park Trabzon (Medical Park)
                    Antalya BŞB
                    Bornova Bld.
                    Mersin BŞB

                    ** Efes Pilsen must change its name until next year. Otherwise, they cannot compete (due to a currently passed law).

                        Sad that the only Turkish sports club of Euroleague, which is not supported by sponsors, has a sponsor anymore...
                        Galatasaray board came to final with Medical Park for sponsorship deal. (23M $ p/y for women's volleyball, basketball and men's basketball teams.)
                        In fact the deal had been done in June or so but as Galatasaray football team worked with another hospitals chain, Medical Park had cancelled the deal.
                        And Galatasaray fans were happy because of they are in Euroleague without a sponsor like their roster wasn't built by MP support or like they didn't know that problem in sponsorship would be solved until the season starts.

                        Shortly, we will watch Galatasaray Medical Park team in Euroleague this year. I wish the last place of group to Galatasaray Medical Park fans.
