Comelec: No voting in malls owned by candidates
MANILA, Philippines – Voting will not be allowed in shopping malls owned by candidates or those associated with them.

This is to avoid conflict of interest and to allay suspicion of bias, according to Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Andres Bautista.

“Under the law, it is prohibited to use a private establishment as polling place if that is owned by a candidate or a supporter of a candidate,” he said.

Bautista was interviewed yesterday at the SM Aura in Taguig, where he oversaw the satellite registration for senior citizens and people with disability.

The Comelec has been taking precautions to ensure that satellite registration and possible mall voting will not be tainted by politics, Bautista said.
Good thing! They thought about this now! Because, everytime that there will be an election, the city hall is always super super crowded. This is a great way to lessen the hassle for employees and seniors. According to this website Voting center in the Mall that they will put the voting centres in malls that is not owned by any of the candidates.

I do agree with this move of COMELEC to fasten the registration process and lessen the crowded voters in the area. More way to go COMELEC until the 2016 May Elections!
