A lot is still on the line with this one. Angola's coming off their win against the Euros and New Zealand's coming off a 22 point loss.

With a win Angola wins the group.
If they lose but it's by 12 or less they qualify for the next round and Macedonia takes the group.
If they lose by 13 or more New Zealand qualifies for the next round and Macedonia wins the group.

The way New Zealand has been playing (0-4 on the summer, with double-digit defeats in every game), I don't think they can stay within 15 points of Angola. Angola should dismantle the Tall Blacks and position themselves to take on the loser of Russia/Dominican Rep.

1st based off of point differential.

On the game, that was an ugly first quarter, really questionable plays from both teams. I wonder if Angola would have been better off playing yesterday, they seemed lost for the the first five minutes before they seemed to snap out of it.

Angola doing their best not to qualify. 0/9 from 3, 4/15 from 2...against New Zealand! What the hell, Angola?

New Zealand Tai Webster is doing well today, that's what make the difference.

Ohhh, Macedonia has a chance to finish first!

Angola's offense has been horrific. New Zealand is making their three pointers (They might be shooting better from three than inside the perimeter).

New Zealand is up by fourteen at the half. You have to like those Kiwis!

Why is that a surprise? Angola always does that. They base their whole game on chucking up threes. Sometimes they get lucky and hit a bunch of them. Otherwise, they are a pretty terrible team.

New Zealand is the one chucking up threes this game. They have already taken 27.

Angola back in the game cutting it to 6. New Zealand needs to win by 13 (?) to get into the next round.

Angola isn't good and never has been. My point is they are bad, unless they hit a lot of threes.

Not good, if New Zealand wins, that will probably mean that Russia won't play Macedonia. And that means Macedonia will be in first place in group. Go Angola!

The big winner of this game is...FYROM! Barring a furious comeback by Angola in the 4th, FYROM now likely avoids Russia and is odds on favorite to make it to SFs.

And the big loser of this game is...the Dominican Republic! What is clear is that if Angola were to win, the Dominican Republic would probably beat them in the QFs. But against FYROM, they will have a much tougher time.

Angola blowing some easy chances here.

There's some really good up and down action, but Angola can't seem to get over the hump. By the same token New Zealand's not close enough to overcome the point differential.

Are you serious man ? DR is one of the worst teams, it survives Korea by a miracle ! !!

Angola seemed to be content to just advance, and New Zealand seems content just to leave this tournament with a win, and that's it.

Congrats to both, and congrats to fyr of Macedonia, not the way they probably wanted to win group, but the result is the same.

Dominican Republic is overrated because they have some NBA players and an NCAA coach - so they automatically must be good.

I hope you're right and we shall win today's game with Dominicana. If we'll do it that is a very preferable variant: Angola is a very comfortable opponent for us with their playing style while Macedonia is quite an opposite and strangely we always have very tense games against Macedonia recently.
By the way, Weeeebster. The kid is huge. Playing with such confidence and being so athletically fit in just 17 years... well, he is a potential star of Penney caiber which Kiwis so desperately need. I hope that he will play in Europe instead of NBA: it would be a delight to watch him here if he lives up to his huge potential. Definitely a discovery of this tournament.

He is sensational for age 17. However, he looks like he could be a Westbrook type mentality.

The Euroleague has, on average, taller players than the NBA does. So this statement of yours is illogical.
