Korea looked poor against Russia and get no reprieve facing an immediate knock out game against DR.

The dominicans will not dominate Korea like Russia did but they will win by 25+

19-17 Korea after one, can't say I expected that...

DR looking sluggish in the opening quarter. They gotta get shots for Ramon if Korea is packing the paint.

I thought that Dominican is high level like Puerto Rico, it looks there's big difference between them.

Russia has got to be pretty relaxed about tomorrow.

Dominicans in trouble--guards aren't giving them much, and they're not forcing turnovers or getting offensive rebounds.

Announcers don't seem to realize that #14 for Korea is from the US and 34 years old.

Oh lawd, dominicans losing by 4 at halftime. :o

This is the Fiba Asia team I expected.

Great game for Korea, they got the Dominicans out of their style with their quickness and sharpshooting. Sandrin is man of the match for me - 2 monster slams and a key 3 pointer.

They are, its just that its hard to adjust to a world tournament facing different styles when you're new at this level.

Macedonia found that out yesterday, dominicans found it out today. Even if they win.

Korea didn't care about the result against Russia. They knew they coundn't win, so they didn't play intensively. They bet all their money against the Dominican republic.

I like the Korean guy who looks like Keanu Reeves.

Kalipari will walk on the court and rape his players right there on the hardwood :)

71-65 DR, still anyone's game though. Much better effort from Korea today.

I still think the Dominicans can beat Russia tomorrow, its just a cold 1st game for them, gonna be hot tomorrow

Dominican Republic survives 95-85. Lets hope they play better tomorrow if we want a good game.

Korea is eliminated, but at least they showed a lot more pride in the way they played today.

Dominican Republic will get thumped tomorrow but the question I have is does Angola have a chance to advance to the semifinals when they (likely) play the Dominican Republic in the QF?

yes they have a chance. DR weakness is their guard play and Angola will do a better job against DR big men than Korea did. Tough game for both teams.

19 from 32 in free throw line for Dominicans

very bad... could be a easier game.

Lets see them beat New Zealand before we get ahead of ourselves. Been a few surprising games so far, we'll probably have a few more by the end of tomorrow.

I was expecting an easier win for the Dominicans. I think they can play better than this one.

Korea is good but they have no front court lol...they sacrificed for offensive prowess in benching Oh their toughest player

Really fan of Jack Martinez's game perfect big man in pinoy basketball standards:D

Kim Sun-Hyung is fast. He'll be an all-star in the KBL for years to come.

Definitely. Kim Sun-Hyung is a star in the making. He's got the slashing game down, but has to work on that outside shot and allow the defense to play up on him more often than not. Love this kid's potential
