Hopefully Satnam develops, he's India's real hope of winning some games for the senior squad in the future. Zhou Qi is better right now. Just look at the numbers posted; he played against quality sides while Satnam is struggling within Asia.

Look at Satnam Singh's statistics and game performances up to now, and tell me why he's talked about as a potential NBA player, or even a future force within FIBA. Which game did he have that merits the media attention he's been given?

The only reason Satnam Singh is ever mentioned is because he's NBA India's marketing posterboy. Theres no face for Basketball in India internationally, so he's been tapped by BFI/IMG/NBA to fill that role.

He will play alot of minutes and he'll be one of the tallest players at this tournament, so he should be able to post some stats. If he does, it will be the first time ever outside of Sri Lanka's U16 team and their 6 foot 1 inch center.

in his next game, Satnam did score 16 points on 6/10 shooting in just 10 minutes against Malaysia.

Zhou Qi scored 24 points in his next game.

*but the stats are a bit unreliable.

I think 28 points against sri lanka could score any middleclass player. 13 against nepal is nothing

Zhou Qi scored 24 points against Chinese Taibei.

                  Malaysia is too weak.
