1 china (bc of home court and referees love hehe, yes, china does not deserve to be champ this year but they will, all bc of referees love. look at the game between Jordan and china, they were even up until like second quarter when a bit of calls on Jordan and no calls on china happens that took away the spirit and possibly a win from the Jordanians, even the Chinese TV commentators noticed that, but they were naive enough to say they gave up bc china was too strong for them, too strong my axx!!!)
2 Iran ( what happened to the jordanians will happen to iran in the final match against china, you should hold next Asian championship to get even)
3 Korea ( be glad, khatib is retired from NT and Qatar had import problem.)
4 RP ( shup up and just be happy, best result in past 20years?! no, you can't get better, Gilas is just a team made up of imports and half-imports but all trained and learned their skills in the US, that means your whole program is a failure, no young prospects coming off from your own system means no future)
5 Japan ( this as much as you can get, your AV industry is obviously far more developed than the BB industry)
        6 CT ( whatever)
        7 Jordan ( no comment)
        8 Lebanon ( can't khatib play anymore? )

And to Qatar, better sort out those guys paper as soon as you get home that might get them ready for next Asian championship.

I saw the game between Jordan and China. It was still a game at halftime with China up 40-34. Then the 3rd quarter started and China ran over top of Jordan from that point on. It was 81-45 with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. China was up by 36. If, as you say the bad calls took away their spirit then they still should have enough heart left as to not get embarrassed. China embarrassed Jordan in the second half. Jordan can't feel good about the last 20 minutes of the game.

If Japan wins even by 1 tonight, this would be the scenario:

                      Group F
                      1st-China (+15, -1 = +14)
                      2nd-Japan (-7, +1 = -6)
                      3rd-Philippines (-15, +7 = -8)
                      4th-Jordan

                      Group E
                      1st-Iran
                      2nd-South Korea
                      3rd-Chinese-Taipei
                      4th-Lebanon

In short, Japan will face CT in the quarters and will surely advance in the semis to meet Iran.

In FIBA Asia where basketball is mixed with business and politics, China may intentionally give this game to Japan and have the Hayabusa face CT instead of S. Korea in the quarters.

i don't think China will just do that infront of their cheering homecrowd. that will be disrespecting to them. they will also like to stamp their class this year against their opponents to regain respect and send a signal to everybody in Asia that they are still the "kings of Asia" and the best way to do that is to sweep this tourney with a championship.
