Those blowouts were expected. I don't know for Asian teams but, by example Tunisia and CIV results were expected.
They were heading to the slaughterhouse.Those two countries doesn't have (and never had) any professional Basket-Ball league, and therefore no BasketBall culture and very little International experience. In what concerning me, I didn't even know until last year that they had a Basketball NT.
This sport is not like football where a poor team can hold a World Class team to a draw.
I heard somewhere that S. Mejri, the Tunisian center only has 3 of 4 yrs of Basketball behind him. You couldn't expect them to challenge World class teams with a strong BasketBall culture.Comment

It's good to have some blowouts, they make the good teams look good and build anticipation for the knockout games.
