Congratulations Argentina! It was a proud win even to your sul-american "rivals" :)

I remember having very mixed sensations during the whole tournament.

-Uncertainty at first, because of the lousy preseason results, the feeling that Indianapolis 2002 might have been just a one-year wonder, and the shaky performance at the 2003 Americas.

-Ginóbili's amazing shot to win against Serbia, what seemed a great triumph at first, and Magnano running wildly to celebrate.

-The mediocre first round, beating NZ and China and losing to Spain and Italy.

-The strange quarterfinal against Greece, watching the hosts missing open threes constantly, and the grand entrance by Walter Herrmann when things were getting really rough.

-The imposing win against the USA; with Ginóbili leading, Herrmann again coming at exactly the right moment, and Marbury's ugly foul on Oberto.

-And the final against Italy, by then all uncertainty was gone. Personally, i was sure Argentina would in it, but celebration only was possible after Montecchia's threes near the end. And Scola's screaming dunk as the perfect ending to it all.
