From Australia: Brad Newley - In my opinon a possible first round or at least early 2nd round NBA Draft pick next season.

From New Zealand (or known to Aussies as the 7th state of Australia :D): Kirk Penney - it's his turn to shine and show to the basketball world that he is "The Man" among the Tall Blacks.

from greece, diamantidis

and, also from greece, as always, Theodoros Papaloukas. He is an unexpected good player who wins unexpected games... if you see what I mean. Frenche magasines still cry for the French loss at the Euro.

In the French team, watch ronny turiaff, and, Big Fredzilla Weiss.
Anothr one to watch is Milicic, he'll have a real chance to express himself, so, as he is doin' in Orlando, he'll play basketball...
luis Scola, the best player out of the NBA, and one of the top PF in the World.
Probably Alex Garcia is a player to watch after the game he did vs USA.
Macijauskas will get back to his real level after Coach Scott wasted him in the Hornets roster.
And, Slovenian PG Beno udrih will at least have some time on the court after a little nba season.

For me those are the guys to watch after.

I agree with Milacic...he will be hard to stop if his confidence stays at the level of preparation games...sadly Krstic won't play...they would look great together.

Next one I expect a lot from is Rudy Fernandez...has a lot of energy and despite young age a lot of experience...can score and drive...real asset for Spain.

In Slovenian team two might surprise...Udrih could make some noise if he stays healthy and gets free hands in run and gun style of play...also team-mates and coach Pipan need to respect his crazy nature and confidence...in this case he will be great attacking weapon and will score a lot of easy baskets in transition...just hope our coaching stuff doesn't take too caucious approach to the games...if that happens than he will be shut down by set plays...another one who might step-up is Slokar...he will get a lot of minutes as E.Lorbek is not in the team due to the injury...his past performances shows signs of ability to step-up when needed by the team...hope he does.

well i guess that does of you who still don't know him will be surprised how much lazaros papdopoulos' hook-shoots are lehtal. he was somewhat off the radar playing for dynamo moscow the past 2 seasons but he's arguably the best center in europe today.
