I played against quite a few of these guys when they finished out their veteran years.

Iain Maclean - Was probably Scotland's best ever player. 6'5" - Great shooter from everywhere. Very tough guy who would fight like a rugby player.

Steve Bucknall - 6'6" (roughly) - 1st Brit to play in the NBA - played with Magic at the Lakers. Great all round team player.

Karl Brown - 6'3" Most annoying player i played against. Very fast and liked to take it to the basket all the time.

Peter Scantlebury 6'5" - One of England's best ever - Good shooter and again very good all round player.

Carl Miller 6'9" - huge black guy who rebounded and played defense.

Martin Henlin - 6'10" - big rebounder, good defensive player with decent low post game.

    Don't know the rest.

Why are you interested in these guys.

P.S Alton Bird finished out by getting done for money laundering or something like that. Think he ended up doing time in jail for that.

Thank you very much this helps in terms of strengths and weaknesses.
I know Sports Illustrated here in US had a nice article in their archives on Alton Byrd. I'll look it up and post here.

Google searches on Joel Moore and Sam Robson are useless.

Alton Byrd, once an NBA draft pick, is now the biggest thing in the small world of British basketball
