The MVP ranks right now should be:

1. Spanoulis
2. Ilyasova
3. Parker
4. Lakovic
5. Tepic

Why Zisis is and Turkoglu isn`t in the poll?

I'll offer you a quite simple explanation for this quarrel of yours:

-Because my instinct was telling me so at the time i created the poll.
As of now, Turkoglu is not anywhere near an MVP candidate and I'm sticking with my decision of selecting Ilyasova as the explicit candidate from the Turkish NT.

Otherwise, the option "other" is meant to comprehense all other players of the tournament not mentioned in the poll. Consequently, I sincerely fail to perceive any difficulty here.

Through 5 days its close but I say its a race between:
Spanoulis
Parker
Ilyasova
Lakovic
Sleeper: Fernandez

Right now Spanoulis is the leader in the clubhouse because of how well he has run the Greek offense but it could change as the tourney moves on.

Spanoulis, Zisis, Bourousis are in the list & you are excluding Hedo... you don't what you are talking about:eek:

damn!!

Parker is the definition of Most Valuable Player
Could not agree more.

Parker ftw!

He is by far the most skilled player of this Eurobasket (with Dirkas and Andrikas absent).

I am already giggling just thinking of Spanoulis vs Parker... should be fun :D

Pau Gasol, Parker or Spanoulis... Pau isn't playing well, he will be awarded only if Spain wins the tournament.

Princess gasol can`t win mvp with this whiney performance. And imo tony will rule all mvp table even without Eva watching him. :p

MVP for me so far is Ilyasova.

Parker of course will be a top candidate if France goes past the quarters.

MVP for me Ilyasova too.. He is just amazing, both scoring and rebounds..

1-Parker
2-Spanoulis
3-Ilyasova

For me. Lakovic could get in there too.

But really, it all depends on who will get to the final.

1.Ilyasova
2.Parker
3.Lakovic
4.Spanoulis

Serbia and Spain doesnt have a clear MVP right now but both teams could win at the end.

At the moment the MVP would be Parker or Ilyasova. Then there are Pau, Spanoulis and Lorbek.

So far I think,

1. Parker
2. Spanoulis
3. Ilyasova

Lakovic, Lorbek, Pau Gasol, Mozgov, Teodosic should also be candidates right now.

Timofey Mozgov

Timofey Mozgov

I'm really impressed with Russian center, Timofey Mozgov. Does anybody else think like me that he is the best center produced by Russia since the breakup of the Soviet Union?

Yeah right. You added Kleiza who's a scrub and just an average player in NBA but you exclude Türkoğlu. Hedo Türkoğlu is the 3rd best player in this tournament after Gasol and Parker. How the hell can you add all those names but not Hedo? How can you predict that Hedo won't score 25 against Greece, 25 in the semi-final and 25 in the final and get the MVP award? You know that can happen. You should take out some of the damn names and add Türkoğlu.

NBA average players Kleiza, Fernandez, Krstic, M. Gasol on the list, an NBA team go-to-guy Türkoğlu not on the list. And you have 2-3 players from every good team but 1 player from Turkey?

LoL

As for the current MVP, Ilyasova might have a shot at it.

sure ilyasova is MVP ,he dont play ball much altough his statics good really
