if spain displays a good performance against turkey today, they'll be my top favorite again. otherwise i'll vote for greece despite their unconvincing performance against germany.. i was expecting a blow-out.

i think that Spain-Turkey match is very crucial, because an easy win by Spain would probably mean that they have started to overcome the trouble they face at the first games and they are the clear favorites of the tournament. Otherwise...i think Greece has a chance, not because the team is so mighty, but until now they have played awesome basketball, they are serious and stable in their performances, and who knows, there is always the hope that they can carry on like that until the end.

Picking Rubio, Lopez, and Cabezas as his point guards was an absolute disaster for Scariolo. The only team that might have worst point guard play overall is Lithuania, but then Delinikatis is playing way better than Spain's point guards.

Turkey beat this France team twice in the preliminary rounds. In the second win in France, Turkey played its second team for most of the night, and France was fighting for their chances. Turkey is a much better team than France. Mark my word!

Yes, thats true. We beat France in front of their fans. Interestingly, In that match, we don't have to beat France. We have already qualified However we beat for only fun.
