From the first two games I've watched him play, Ohio State's BJ Mullens has a looonng way to go and is not starting at this point. He needs a ton of maturity. Somebody said he has neither Greg Oden's level of athleticism or Kosta Koufos' (his two predecessors at Ohio State) offensive skill.
You can see BJ does have ability but he is definitely not plugged in yet. I'm wondering, too, if he will get there this year or not?
The competition starts rising next week. The Buckeyes face both Miami (Fla.) - in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (The Big Ten annually is squashed in this event - it's kind of a joke it's still being played) and Big East foe Notre Dame, featuring power post, all round great player, Luke Harangody. We'll see how he does in those games, if he even gets many minutes.
