Elio, you and Rik are what we call "player haters." The Cavs are so good that you guys just hate them.

Don't worry, normally I'm a player hater, too. I hated Chicago in the '90s and I've always hated New York, Boston and LA.

I support the Cavs. I grew up in Ohio, so I want to see them win. I think this is their year. Sometimes, I kind of wish we didn't have LeBron and Shaq, though...I guess because I'm a hater!!

In the East, I also like Milwaukee because they're in Cleveland's division.

I would like to see Dallas or San Antonio do well in the West. Or Phoenix.

Well with my Pistons in the offseason and waiting on the lottery...

Christ that's a lot of teams, but really it comes down to is I would like to see a first timer franchise win it.

So why not the Hawks or Jazz? Having lived in Atlanta for a couple years I can say without a doubt the Hawks have some of the worst fans in the league. Atlanta pro sports in general have a crappy fan base (too many transplants). As for the Jazz...well I just don't like the Jazz.

Back to topic..

i root for the Magic and Suns as i really want to see any one of those franchise get a championship. Particularly Steve Nash, who i don't want to end up like Stockton who after years and years of great performances remained ring-less.

For the Magic, it's only because Jason Williams is there.

If either of these two gets booted out early, i'd probably cheer for teams not called the Lakers or the Cavaliers. i hate the former because they already have many championships and i want the latter to lose because i want to see Lebron wear another uniform next year

Matt you ever been to the Q? I went there when it was still Gund Arena. Cleveland despite having a junkyard of a city ("Hey, at least we are not Detroit!") has the most enthusiastic fans I got to say. I was there when the Cavs were in the Finals (and everyone in town was wearing the red "Rise Up" T-shirt).

That said, I never really liked the Cavs much. I don't really like one-man teams (except for Team China, LOL)

Yeah, Cleveland's sports fans are pretty crazy. The Cavs, the NFL's Browns, and the MLB's Indians all have very dedicated fan bases. Of course, when the teams are doing bad, the fans sometimes don't show up.
