You're not being a good self-hating jew by not agreeing and not praising as gospel everything Haaretz prints. Self-hating jews like Haaretz frowns on divergence of thought and ideas.

Great more right-wing jingoistic Mormon crap.

Behave yourself MikeMaccabifan.

Yeah Mike, that's a gentile talking...

KKKalvin said:
Anyway Jeretin and Sharp are an afterthought. They couldn't compete with Tapiro, Limonad, Hagog, Sukar ect so I'm not going to concern myself with them.

All you do is concern yourself with thim.

If you want to believe that american basketball washups can compete with the cream of israel's athletes fine but I'm not seeing Tapiro, Raviv, Sukar, Caspi ect trembling is fear. I see them as rather amused.

LOL! WTF? Trembling, amused...LOL!

First I like to watch gifted athlete perform. I wouldn't care about the PL if there weren't gifted athletes playing. Second no jew uses the world gentile, goy or chosen people and crap like that maybe the typical toothless meth addicted lutheran believes this but not someone that knows better.

Hmmm, good example of jingoMormon Klanvin...

Back to the topic - Halperin was good tonight against Jerusalem. If he played so in EL...

He's been playing well all year long. Maccabi lost to Ironi and Raviv Limonad outplayed him and all of a sudden Spahija decides to bench Halperin and Eliyahu and over play inferior players like Sharp, Boytoy, Bynum and Arnold. Spahija never once considered that Limonad was a gifted talent and great developing player.

I love your Mormon logic on Jews.

First, I agree I never hear Jews use the term "chosen people." Of course I don't know what any of this has to do with anything I types.

As for gentile or goy, hell, most Jews (including say my family) use either one. Would you prefer shegetz?

No jew uses elitest words like gentile, goy, shegetz I hear the occational lutheran joke or meth joke and a lot of catholic jokes but they're jokes in poor taste not elitism and they're funny.

Halperin was bad most of this year - I always said he is very talented, but needs to overcome psychological problems sometime - he played without aggression, was afraid to shoot. I'm glad he Is improving.

I think you are only inferior here... Bynum is only 20 years old - he is learning from game to game and is improving from game to game. How could you yourself write in one thread he had career game, and in another write he is inferior?

Did you talk with Spahija? Otherwise you couldn't know - Israeli roster was closed even before Spahija signed...

Bynum is around 24 but I'm sure you'll argue with a fact. You criticize Halperin and Eliyahu for lack of aggression all year but both played with more aggression than boytoy, geretin, sharp and bynum. Boytoy one of the most timid players I've ever seen. He doesn't rebound or defend all he does is wait outside the arc and shoot threes. Bynum had a career game but with the assistance of Hapoel non-existant perimeter defense. Bynum will struggle again.

When? Eliyahu did not play much against Jerusalem, and in EL all his "aggression"
was in offense, and that too only when Niko found him free. He is talented but still you overrate him again and again. Halperin was good but call him aggressive? Only moron like you can do it...

Jasaitis defends pretty well, and while he rightfully uses his most potent weapon - automatic 3pt shoot, he also penetrates (great dunk against J-m) and helps closing for rebound. He's not Parker, but he is very good player. He had ups and downs this season, but I hope next will be better.

Perimeter? What has Bynum to do with perimeter? He penetrates most of the time, so it's under-the-basket defense:) You might be mistaken him and Halperin...

If you're going to criticize Halperin for being timid you should criticize boytoy, Sharp and Vujcic for the same thing.

Lol. And since when are the terms "goy" and "gentile" elitist?

Jeretin, Bynum and Sharp have been playing more aggressively then Halperin all year. Jasaitis has no D, no argument here, however you don't give your buddy enough credit on the offensive side (then again, he's not Israeli:D).

BTW, Hapoel's "non-existant perimeter defense," hmmm, you mean Tapiro's non-existent D.:D

Boytoy and Sharp aren't as aggressive as Halperin and we'll see how boytoy will perform against Mizrachi.

Did I said that? "Shiksa" is just more fitting:p

Agree:) Jasaitis is not that bad in defense though...

Oh, by the way, Klanvin, I haven't seen game against Bnei Hasharon, but from stats it seems that it was Bynums game, so Jasaitis wasn't too good (at least in offense), but Mizrachi wasn't shining too, so it remains undecided, I guess....

You're not being fair to boytoy. 3 points and 5 fouls was a solid game for Derek Sharp so by your standards boytoy had more than a solid game. Although Mizrachi didn't play as well as he should have he still performed better. Maccabi's weakness is the small forward when a team finally exploits it Maccabi will lose. Bnei was leading at the half so Maccabi looked beatable we'll see how Galil and Ironi will perform.

It was 5 points according to YNet, and as I wrote I did not see the game so I couldn't tell how solid his game was, as opposite to game which Jerusalem, which I watched, so I could evaluate Sharp by things not seen in stats.

8 points? Much better...

Basketball is played 40 mins not 20... Well, in most cases - your beloved Jerusalem lost game after second quarter...
And beatable??? It was 20 points near the end and only Moshe Biton's (who hates Maccabi) presence helped Bnei Hasahron to close a bit...

Considering boytoy is a graduate of Sarunas Marciulionis School of basketball and the amount of time and money invested in his development he's a disapointment to be outperformed by Mizrachi. I wonder how much better Mizrachi if the same effort and money went into his development.

Do you have any clue how much was invested in Mizrachi? Even if count only food, it's much more than in Jasaitis:)

Mizrachi didn't attend a former soviet all basketball academy for high school so I doubt more was invested on Mizrachi than boytoy.
