There is already a lot of discussion about it in various threads over the forum, however this should be an interesting thread to read in 2017.
Since some of the older stars are slowely declining and it'll be quite a gap for some teams in my opinion, which young players do you believe will make an impact in 2017 for your country?

For GRE, we might see the first NT selections for Agravanis, Papapetrou, Charalampopoulos and/or Papagiannis. Probably we will only see 1-2 of these players make the final roster but I think these are the primary candidates. Maybe Bochoridis if he develops rapidly. I am not including Antetokounmpo who is already established on the NT.

C:Milutinov,Jokic
PF:Tejic
SF:Dangubic
SG:Guduric
PG:Micic,Jaramaz
idk all great guys and is expected to step up in next 2 years

+Rebic, Davidovac and Zagorac, all U20 serbs looks great

these guys are great players. wow. maybe Slavica also?

dont know. i'm not really an expert. he has a lot of things to improve, very raw player

from croatia i can also include arapović and mazalin hopefully. in two years hezonja will be much better also

Number 1 is definitely Jokic. He is superb player for me. He is a big mismatch against anyone.

I am expecting Furkan Korkmaz will do great numbers in 2017.

and also i think Osman will step up much more in 2 years will have even more expirience, hes gonna be awsome

Aleksandar Magdevski and Kristijan Nikolov both 19 years old, players to watch out for 2017 allready.

Hopefully young Sabonis can be a great asset to Lithuanian team 2 years later.

I hope a few guards surprise for Finland, but likely players to have impact are Alex Murphy and Lauri Markkanen.

Also I expect new faces in the SG-SF positions. Like Marius Grigonis, Rokas Giedraitis.
Unfortunately no new winds in the PG spot.

The same Lekavičius. He doesn't exactly make impact this summer, so his time might come exactly in 2017.

I really like our future frontcourt. Motiejunas Valanciunas. And with the young ones A.Gudaitis and D.Sabonis. D.Sabonis is extremely good for his age. only 19. He will be 21 by the EC 2017 and I would expect him being in NBA by that time getting bigger stronger and faster.

What is considered a young player? Valanciunas this year is in my opinion a borderline "young" player at 23. Monti is already 25, he should've been impact. Two of them in 2017 would not be considered young players by any standards, those are already mid career years. Same would go for Bogdanovic, Kalinic, Nedovic in Serbia and many others.

What will be Lekavicius real problem is his height for the future. At the moment he has no skills or accurate shooting to compensate for his height.. And height does matter.

Yeh I know. I just said overall about how would our frontcourt look...And even though Motiejunas or Valanciunas will not be considered young by EC 2017 they are still not at that age that they cant improve anymore.

Someone can improve at 32 :D The idea is to highlight kids who are now let's say up to 20-21 max, that might break out then. Like I said guys who are 22-23 now already should not be considered young at this time in two years.
