Thibodeau hiring as Bulls coach could lure James to sign with team

Here is a piece of great news to all the countless fans of the Chicago Bulls around the world.
The upcoming signing of Boston Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau as its new head coach is superb news to the franchise and its fans in this planet.
As a veteran coach Thibodeau is expected to provide stability and solid team-work for the Bulls so that the team will be more competitive in the next season of the National Basketball Association.
Aside from his skills and veteran leadership, according to basketball experts the hiring of Thibodeau could also entice Cleveland Cavaliers superstar forward Lebron "King" James to sign with the team.
Being one of the top coaches in the NBA, the experts said James would be happy to sign with the Bulls and play alongside Thibodeau especially that the Cavaliers do not have a coach at the moment.
James earlier said that one of the things he is looking for the team he will play is its winnability and the coach who will guide the team.
If ever James will eventually sign with the Bulls it would be welcome news to the franchise and its fans since he can certainly bring a lot of difference to the team.
Once James signs with the Bulls he is expected to team-up with rising point-guard Derrick Rose to make sure the team will be successful in the next NBA season.
The Bulls is currently pursuing actively James who will become a free-agent this year.
The Bulls has enough salary cap to sign James and one more NBA superstar for the team.
James in a recent interview revealed that he had not yet chosen which team to sign but hinted possibility that he will re-sin with the Cavaliers.
The Bulls has decided to hire Thibodeau since he has huge basketball knowledge to help the campaign of the team in the next NBA season.

If I'm Bron I make sure that I'm playing with another Superstar (Wade) who is in his prime (sorry Shaq). So I'd say Miami, especially if they can get Bosh. All it takes then is a few trades for solid veterans who can knock down open shots in crunch time and you got yourself a dynasty.

hah a TV special what a joke, David Stern and espn can all scream with glee at everything that Lebron does but the fact still remains...... Brian Scalabrine and Adam Morrison has a ring and Lebron doesnt. And if he doesn't change that massive ego of his, he never will.

I can't believe i'm staying awake all night simply to know where this arrogant player will end up .
And finally we know.. The HEAT

And Lebron stabs every Cleveland fan in the back on national television. R.I.P Cavs.

I'm really disappointed but not suprised about how Lebron chose to have this broadcasted and made it such a spectacle. Durant let everyone know about his extension in a very humble, low-key way which is classy.
Next year is going to be crazy though, i don't believe there has ever been a time where a player of his caliber (and there have only been a few in the history of the NBA) changed teams when he was entering his prime.

he is going to Miami, im sure he will get a war welcoming party when he plays against cleveland. i hope they throw johnson and johnson baby powder bottles at him when he goes back to cleveland next season. i could care less about cleveland and their teams or lebron for that reason, but dude u just dont get up and leave like that. mj never really left chicago until he had his rings and pretty much the bulls were no longer around. kobe never did. it has always sucked to be an ohio sports fan, a browns fan, a bengals fan, an indians fan, a cavaliers fan. the only thing going for them are the buckeyes...no wonder why their is a huge ass budwesier(is it this?) near columbus, ohio to drown out the sorrow

Wrong evil empire, my sig supports Team USA

But I suppose with the super heat, I should change it for clarification. ;)

and the line-up for the 2010-2011 Heat are:

Dwade
Bosh
Lebron
ref 1
ref 2

sixth man:
ref 3

I start to imagine the lopsided calls the refs will make for this team...... like..
Flagrant foul no. 2 for opposing player for breathing 10 inches near anyone wearing a heat jersey.

David Stern is having the best time of his life.

Hah, hah, hah, hah!!! :D :D :D That's pretty funny!!

There is always a little truth in good comedy...:D :D

The Heat are going to be good next year. No doubt. But they aren't guaranteed to win the championship. They still need five solid players, like the role players that Pau and Kobe had.

There are no guaransheeds in the NBA. May I remind everyone of the Kobe/Payton/Shaq/Malone had great role-players in Fisher/Grant/Rush/Fox/Medvedenko/George/Russell. And that team still got beaten up by a complete Detroit team with a smart coach.

I think the big thing that this Miami Heat team has going for them, that is different than that Laker team is that they don't necessarily have to win next year. Everyone knew that Laker team with the ages of Payton and Malone was probably a 1 max 2 year deal.
The Heat should in theory be able to keep these guys together for the next 5+ years so they have time to grow, find the right role players etc. Plus there are the reports now that LBJ, Wade and Bosh are taking less $, perhaps significantly less to sign good role players.

With Billionaire Micky Arison as the HEAT owner, Wade, James and Bosh on paper, would look like they are getting less $$$ but there are no rules against getting shares and bonuses (as well as undisclosed wire-bank transfers to the accounts of the said players.)
