Maybe at that time it was impressive, but to me it's only so-so.

Nowadays some random streetballer can do that.... and not having to travel

Well maybe, but I still like it.:D

I also don't think that the guy on your video dunked on the original basket, because the heights between streetball and original baskets are different (streetball basket is smaller).

Anyway, MJ dunks for the win. :D

Best dunk is imo Vince off the backboard alley-oop windmill. That was sick.

My favorite is also Vince Carter's dunk over Weis. But, I think Andre Iguodala's second dunk in last year's competiton was also awesome.
Video link

btw, anyone remembering Allen Iverson's dunk on Marcus Camby?

I think the crazy Algerian French guy (name escapes me) in Slam Nation.
I can't see your post either, sinobball. is he Kadour Ziani? (Didn't we once talk about him here at IBN?)

No love for the great (from NC State) Spud Webb? Unbelievable! My favorite of this dunk competition was the 360 but I liked all of his dunks.

Can you see it now?

1 u should see the air up there's dunk...a 720 unbelivable...

2 vince carter on weiss:D

3 iguodala at the last slam dunk:cool:

4 james white dunks between legs from the free throw line.. (only fourth 'cause the quality of the video wasn't perfect and the basket seems strange... )

Actually thats a 540:D
True. He completes the final 180 degrees between the dunk and his landing. Thus, he revolves 720 degrees in total, but dunks at 540.

Extraordinary dunk in any case.

The best one I've ever seen, live, was in the 2003 Tournament of the Americas when Anderson Varejao drove the baseline against the U.S. and dunked the ball hard on Jermaine O'Neal's head.

O'neal was so embarrassed that on the very next possession he tried to dunk the ball in traffic, missed, and injured himself. I wish I had the video.

540 or 720 i think that is definately the best dunk of 2006 by far. but of all time that can be argued with his i guess carters is very nice has anyone seen austin crosheres dunk from this season that was off the chain aswell, ill c if i can find that

For me,it was probably D.Songaila in euro 03.
I knew nothing about the guy till then because at the time i was living abroad for 5 years ,without internet...
My friend got Lithuanian TV,and whole bunch of us watched last 3 games with Lithuania in the tournament, and man,i wasn't disappointed.
I will check youtube, maybe i can find that dunk

I am sure this dunk had been featured as in "the very best of Euroleague top moments" many times.

And maybe not on the topic, but the best i have seen of all Lithuanians to dunk is M.Kalnietis.Phenomenal jumper..as for a white guy.
