No issues with the top 4, but Canada has no business being in the top 10. They haven’t won anything in decades.

Since we really don’t know much about roster composition at this time I would actually have Canada third behind only Serbia and the US. Serbia second with the assumption that Jokic plays and Canada third with the assumption that Murray and SGA are the starting backcourt along with their other NBA guys.

I feel like Jokić will play. Serbia can hope for big things only with both Jokić and Bogdanović. Everyone else can be replaced (though we think it's about time Micić plays a good tournament for NT).

No real point guard on this roster. I think their offense won't be fluid at all, but their size at 3-5 positions is really great. They got away with a medal last year at Eurobasket playing mediocre basketball with some really lucky moments vs Italy and Turkey, but I don't think it can happen again. I would be concerned with Fournier, he had the worst season of his career in NBA and seems to be on decline. De Colo is still good but him and Okobo on defense...I'm not sure about that. Interior defense will be strong, but I'm not sold on their perimeter defense. Good shooting teams will have a chance vs France.

I wonder in Jokic dropping puts a little pressure on Murray to drop out. Perhaps Jokic needs more time with his horses, just has nothing to prove or just doesn't love basketball as much. All non-issues with Murray.

i think the US and Canada are properly ranked. To me it makes complete sense that Canada would win this tournament once every four tries and the Us every other try.

i agree with Germany to a degree, I think they are better than Italy, a Gianni-less Greece and about the same as Serbia. But I just don’t think they can win 5he tournament so 20-1 or 40-1 to me doesn’t make a difference.

i was thinking the exact same thing on Jamal Murray when the Jokic news became official. Could he drop out as well ? I really think it’s like 50/50 that he plays.
