Looks like Germany's Tibor Pleiss will be signing with the Jazz this season as according to reports, Jazz and FC Barcelona are nearing an agreement.

Career game for Gobert last night: 19 Pts, 22 Reb, 2 Ast, 4 Blks to dominate Houston's front-court single-handedly.

Gobert has a very bright future in front him. When the contract time comes, he'll probably be the most expensive Jazz player, if they can keep him.

I think there is a good chance in keeping Gobert. For the 2016-2017 season, salary cap will rise by $20 Million plus and that could make the Jazz keep Hayward and Gobert.

Another 20-20 game for Gobert from the other night.

RIP to former WVU great, NBA All-Star and Jazz broadcaster Rod Hundley, known as Hot Rod. He was what you called "Fun Stop" players back in the day where he showcased dribbling and playmaking flare in late 50's and early 60's. Back then, acts like Bob Cousy, Andy Philip and ofcourse Rod Hundley were a sight to behold. Bridged the gap between George Mikan and the era of Elgin Baylor / Jerry West.

I think they did well by securing Gordon Hayward with a massive contract (which I think is undeserved) but other than that, there really isn't much else happening with them right now. It's sad that some of these smaller markets in the NBA can't really compete with the bigger ones.

They introduced new logos and uniforms the other day. I will miss the 2010-16 uniforms.

Utah set to acquire Boris Diaw from the San Antonio Spurs as the Spurs are trying to clear cap room for the eventual signing of Pau Gasol.

Wow this wasn't updated for awhile lol

Dante Exum to miss significant chunks of the season with a separated shoulder. This kid just can't catch a break.

Huge opportunity for Donovan Mitchell though.

Speaking of Exum, the Jazz are letting both him and Hood -who I'm not surprised didn't get extended- go to RFA.

They've also waived Joel Bolomboy, which unless they plan on signing him to their D-League team is shocking to me.

Donovan Drops 41vs the Pelicans tonight. What a game for the rookie.

Joe Ingles is playing the best ball of his career while the Jazz are really playing well as of late. The announcer coined: "3 and Everything Guy", in reference to Joe's intangibles.

It cracked me up to see clueless people knocking that contract. He got exactly what he's worth.

What a season the Jazz are having in Year 1 post-Hayward. The lack of a ball demanding-forward or big alliws them the continuity to play Snyder's pace and Rubio free-willing playmaking. Add Donovan Mitchell's quick read of the game on where he applies his offence, you get a lot of continuity where Ingles is also becoming a utility knife on top of his shooting.

Also Dante Exum has comeback strong and playing sharper than ever.

So at last we managed to get rid of Snyder, one of the worst coaches ever seen. He threw away a perhaps unrepeatable opportunity in the previous season 2020-21 with his ridiculous "system" (tons of 3pts and Gobert defending alone against 3-4 opponents).

Of course the trending news is the Gobert trade. No one is expecting much in the following season after it. We will have patience waiting for the next draft picks obtained through the trade.
