their group was tough for that tournament and gave a fight against some of those teams :D
If we check the 2008 teams they beated the Dominicans with Jack Michael, Horford and Garcia and managed their way to a silver medal

Think about that ;)

For some reason, i always expect VI to sneak up and be the sleeper of the ToA, like in 1999. But i think i overestimate the too much, there are some fine players but they don't seem enough for this year's competition.

I love cheering for the underdog VI because everyone always expects them to lose.

Walter Hodge (puertorrican from the Florida Gators) will play with the USVI

Ive seen Walter Hodge play with Florida. Fairly decent player. Some great games but overall an average player..... at least from NCAA standards.

It seems that their national federation site: http://www.vibf.net/ has expired. The only site linking to the said domain is their federation site from CBC (http://www.caribbeanbasketball.com/isv.htm). Does the federation have a new mandated website?

Anyways, the federation will hold an annual meeting this coming Saturday, March 31, 2012 to discuss about reports of the 2011 activities, the federation's finances, upcoming clinics for coaches or referees and plans for 2012.

These players played in a scrimmage against PR:

Jason Edwin
Aaron Brown
Gregory Washington
Ivan Aska
Philip Jones
Walter Hodge
Jonathan Gray
