It isn't UP's fault that La Salle, despite spending millions to pay for KQ's services, fumbled the bag and lost to UP. La Salle had the best local UAAP player in KQ in the last 25 years and they were heavily expected to repeat, but still managed to lose to UP in the Finals. La Salle lost period.

Also, Remulla can drop dead today and UP Will continue to get support from Robinson's, Palawan, and BPI. All you can do right now is be salty and hope and pray that UP's basketball program goes back to its dark ages (highly doubt it).

Or, maybe you can go ask La Salle to win when it counts? I know it's tough for La Salle fanboys like you to accept defeat from a team that used to be the UAAP's whipping boys. This isn't the 2000s anymore and whether you like it or not, UP is the UAAP defending champs. Deal with it.

I do know the Laconsay boys personally, so I'm not sure if they're getting the necessary hype. Benson's (older) was born in the year 2000 and I know he's not really looking into balling further in the future. DJ, I know, has offers from UE, but I'm not sure how the UCAL to UAAP/NCAA residency rules apply now.

Also, please, if you could probably link these boys to a better agent, do so. The Fil-Can manager they have is kinda trashing their potential as they're not given the necessary allowances they should. It's becoming akin to how that PVL team neglected their players

Relax, im the one who pointed it out here in the thread and im no hater. Im just being realistic when i tell you that remulla money and influence wont last a lifetime so what your team is doing now aint really sustainable in the long run. Again nothing wrong with maximizing whatever avenue your program has in recruiting players. As for the team you mentioned dlsu, yeah they also recruit guys from other schools but atleast they still get guys form their high school programSS, yeah the two S's there are both for zobel and greenhills. Out of all the schools in the uaap today, UP is the only school that dont have anyone from the jrs program in their team A, make it make sense.

from what i heard, remulla has been supporting up even during their dark days. probably he wasn't just as visible as he is today?

as for upis, not only do they have a small school population, the players they had lined up this season were extremely young. most of their core are from their u16 team so i think upis will be much better in the coming years. even perennial juniors powerhouse ateneo has not been relevant ever since the pandemic.

I think the Fil-Cans had the same pipeline from their AAU team back at home. Benefits-wise, they were said to be given an allowance, food stipend, and boarding near MCU. I'm not sure how much the allowance is, but I was told that it has been delayed for months.
