if only the bright people from the academe specifically the one who runs the UAAP and the NCAA show are visionaries.

because I had this idea that keeps on lingering on my mind for quite sometime now here inside the India-Tango Dept.

that those age old Athletic Association should implement a prerequisite that all HS FSA should completed and studied at least 3 to 4 years

within the age of 18 yrs. old in any HS here in the Philippines

and will occupy the local spot once it decided to study and play in any college schools here in the Philippines.

but it will not able to play alongside the usual FSA during actual games but as an alternate or substitute.

"hindi puede mag sabay inside the court".

I think that would be a good revision moving forward as far as "Global Pinoy in a Borderless Society" storyline are concern.

but unfortunately those so-called bright people from the academe recently released a head scratching policy

that separate the awards between Filipinos and non-Filipinos e.g. FSA

worse the other Athletic Association decided to ban all together FSA in any of it's sports calendar.

because one of the main reason is "The Filipino first" policy.

as Sir Paoylo's posted remarks from the other thread the narrative of "The Game of Chicken".

oh dear..

that is why pasaway.

80-73 win for DLSZ over blue eaglets

Kieffer Alas with 37 pts pts 7/14 3 pt fg 7 rebounds and 5 assists

If D1 is the goal, Kiefer needs to go stateside asap. By this summer, he should already be attending exposure camps.

I think it might even be a good idea for him to reclassify a year, he's only 17.

Reclassify to earlier year or later? I think Andy did reclassify a year later, thus he will be in college by atleast 20 years old.

Repeat a year, he needs more time in the US. Schools like giving out offers to juniors more than seniors.

Makes sense.

The way I see it, Andy's more explosive and athletically gifted than him. Also has better passing and court vision. Though Kiefer seems to be better in shooting area. And as we all know, Andy's having a hard time getting D1 offers as of now. But Kiefer being a year younger than Andy can be considered.

There's a Taiwanese player in D1 UC Irvine Myles Che. Alas is not that far from his quality, but Che knew how to get exposure in high school and did an extra year of prep school.

Alas' performance with Batang Gilas can be his foot on the door. Just keep sending gametapes of him carrying the team on his back to gain interest from coaches.

Just like Gemao, he'll need time to adjust to American size, speed and athleticism.

Alas' scoring ability might actually translate better in the US. He uses shooting, strength and smarts. Gemao relies more on athleticism which is in abundance in the US. Question mark for Alas would be on defense.
