KQ getting the bag that he deserves. He should milk the KBL for as long as possible.
But being an SILG is like being the president since he handles anything interior. It means that he controls and supervises all LGU's. That's more powerful and influential than being just a gov.
Nah, being sec of the dilg is more sinister just as sir jahe has said, dilg secretary gives you the means and connections to 'lord' over other local officials. Look at it this way, when he was gov he was only handling his province in cavite, in the dilg he basically handle all the lgu's and the local officials under them in the WHOLE country.
Up will not have qmb and cagulangan next year. Who are good enough to replace or better them?
Is up bringing wilmore, the 7'3 monster as their one-and-done player?
Those nu guards goldwyn carried with him are not the finest. Lopez and bayla are good.
La salle though without kikiam, and possibly a pba-bound mike phillips, will be in the same rebuilding shoes as ateneo this season.
Will he? Or a fiba eligibility will change all of it?
Again if paly to their potential the jacob cortez mason amos is much deadlier combo.. ayan with or without motor mike..(given na si kq)..
Jacob will create more than kq..
Unpopular opinion.. perkins is more complete player( in terms of physical.attributes and skills)than kq.. perk just underachieved..Although I believed though taht he can play "big" its just kq was signed to play wing in kbl..
I have to agree here but hefty leftyy also somewhat ruined his "legacy" by returning to DLSU for one more year under Coach Aldin but he wasnt even part of their rotation.
Will pba change their rules in the draft and allow incoming graduates to apply and play after playing their last eligibility year (Phlips, nu boys rule)
I don’t buy the hype for DLSU’s incoming recruits yet. They’re all defensive liabilities.
Defensively, Cortez and Baclaan are both major drops off from David and yes, even Ramiro. David at least scared the shit out of Felicilda when DLSU blitzed the pick and roll. Cortez and especially Baclaan ain’t doing that.
Sure, Baclaan has more shot creation than David, but Baclaan wasn’t even tops when he was at NU. He’d be at best a number 2 or 3 PG. Play him alongside Cortez and your backcourt defense suffers, not to mention both need the ball to be effective.
Amos and Pablo are still both defensive liabilities. Neither of them are rim protectors, and both are too slow to stay in pace with perimeter players. Athletic forwards like Lopez will render them unplayable in certain situations. Amos right now really is just a tall shooter with good rebounding and strength, while Pablo is an agile big with a few post and perimeter moves.
I don’t usually rate recruits but it’s a bit of a stretch to say they are major drop offs from David and Ramiro. David is a 2 playing the one. Baclaan didn’t start all of the games but he was NU’s closer most of the time and better than any pg they had or have.
Obviously the incoming DLSU batch of recruits are very talented but the team, as a whole, would have major holes given how the 4 newcomers aren't strong defenders. Mike is going to be their most important player and he'll need to make up for most of the team's defensive deficiencies.
Also, can Nwankwo take the FSA spot back from Henry?
