That 2nd unsportsmanlike on Momowei was bull. No way does that elbow meet any criteria of an unsportsmanlike foul.

Yeah its unfortunate, reminds me of the diouf elbow to padrones last year. These ones with momowei seems inadvertent.

And there goes his mvp/mythical team chances

feels like UE might be eliminated from the final 4 the way things are going

Balogun only entered the game in the 3rd quarter. Meanwhile, Godslove Nwadube is also a bench warmer, albeit in division 1. This is an overlooked reason as to why Ateneo's season is basically a nightmare.

While i like nwabude, dont think he would fit in this year's ateneo team. They needed a traditional big. On paper balogun should have been it. He was just a bust this season. Was it because of all the injuries during the preseason or he just wasnt a fit with what tab is running.

Hopefully UE can get that reversed or else UE might actually lose to Ateneo and most likely they'll complete the chokejob.

Coach Norman will be a good replacement for CTB for sure. A Louie Alas and Norman Black will be a good tandem for Ateneo if it pushes through.

Norman black would do wonders for porter, ong and the ateneo fsa's. In less than a year with beda, he transformed the unplayable cliff hopia to a legit pba prospect.

Lol at people pointing fingers at ateneo for the momowei suspension, last i checked they're already eliminated. Geez people really need to put out their tinfoil hats.

I'm still not used to see Ateneo getting eliminated, let alone, finishing dead last and having a terrible record this season. Having a 3-9 record is really an unfamiliar territory for Ateneo.

Im really interested on the post mortem of this Ateneo season. Why did all those players leave? Why were they stuck with Balogun? It cant just be money, imagine outbidding UP for Jared Bahay. That cant be cheap.

LeBron Lopez left because they neglected him. ADMU safely assumed he would stay and didn't court him to join the Srs. whereas UP kept at it and Tamayo eventually convinced him to go.

Mason Amos left because there were promises that weren't delivered such as extra financial support, training and playing wing. A talk with Mayor Zamora pushed him over the edge and left.

Forthsky left because of the off court drama that plagued him from focusing on his studies. He eventually was left off the team because of his grades. ADMU failed to contain the issue and protect him despite finding him not guilty in a prior trial years ago.

Kobe left because he had bad grades. He just couldn't
keep up.

I think good FSAs are just hard to come by. Ateneo had 3 or 4 in the pool at one point but none of them are good.

To sum it up, they lost the players because of the lack of TLC from management and coaching staff.

If Ateneo really found him not guilty then they are weak and deserve it since Forthsky admitted to some of the accusations later on. But personally, Im really more interested in the Jared Brown and Gab Gomez stories. Geo Chiu and Kai Ballungay, I get it. They are playing pro. Those other two arent doing anything from what I can tell.

Its on the refs. Plus UP is the hosts, why would Ateneo be a thing? They are just getting lucky, first Tounkara now Momowei

Same thing happened daw kasi last year where ateneo was also the next opponent of ue after momowei got suspended lol.

I think the biggest question hounding ateneo now is who is gonna coach next season. And which players will stay amidst the coaching change and whether whoever will replace tab will bring his own recruits.

Louie Alas, Ford Arao, Norman Black. Possibly Nenad or Yuri Escueta too.
