Alright, and? That circumstantial evidence doesn’t prove anything. Logically speaking, he has enough wealth to fund the school without needing that fund. But for the sake of argument, let’s assume it’s true that he used that money to support DLSU. Where are all these self-righteous individuals who act like victims, yet turn a blind eye when they benefit from it? Are they from DLSU or UP?

You presented evidence that doesn’t definitively support your claim, and you also failed to recognize the hypocrisy of UP fans.

It seems to me that you need to sharpen your critical thinking skills more than anyone here needs a history lesson from Google.

Hahaha Critical thinking skills? Why not go to UP fb pages and look at the comments. UP fans routinely bash Remulla. At least with UP, their constituents try to do something with the ills of society. Unlike DLSU whose constituents don't care whether they cause inconvenience to everyone as long they benefit. Guess who is the biggest cause of traffic in Taft and Ortigas? Guess which school is the landing spot for those na "Di Lumusot Sa Upcat?"

I watch live UAAP games. I watch a lot of offseason/preseason tournaments in person, even the obscure ones. For those who are able to do the same, there is one thing that is very noticeable...whenever there's a UP team playing, they will have a lot of fans. Even their B team games would be packed. The fans are lively, in your face and hyped. Those in the know, know that UP gives free tickets for the obscure tournaments, but still there is genuine hardcore fan support. This also reflects in socmed and forums like this.

It's an interesting phenomenon wherein it's like a sleeping giant woke up. Personally, I don't mind this newfound fervor of their school fans, the more elite teams pushing each other higher the better. It was honestly mind-boggling how it took so long for a storied institution like that to show more pride (and support) in their school team.

It's understandable that their fans are excited and pumped up because this is new for them. It will take a while (and a few championships) before they get over the "nouveau riche" phase.

They were like this for their pep squad when their pep squad had that 4 peat run in the early 2010s. Even the dress rehearsal was fully attended.

Now? Very few watch their pep squad to the point that fans of other schools are now able to get tickets from UP.

Same thing happening with Ateneo and their fans now since their team isn’t doing well.

Anyway, the excitement is understandable but the constant holier-than-thou attitude (long essays on social media, posts about fans or their players virtues which are unrelated to basketball) are getting tiring. Even when Ateneo had their 5-peat there was nothing like this.

You're showing your age with your responses. You're talking about traffic. This is unserious. Lmao.

Nokura had another outstanding game: he had 30-9-8 blocks.

Also, Miguel Yniguez had back to back great games. He's a big guard that can score, rebound and pass. He reminds me of Dwight Ramos.

Totally forgot that UP recruited this Yniguez kid. I hope he pans out more than Briones who has been quite a disappointment when given the playing time.

You guys got a good piece for years to come. I was surprised he stuffed the stat sheet. His impact goes kinda under the radar but the dude can ball and has good size. I hope he turns into a star and maybe play for Gilas.

This is a great read to the uninitiated or to those who refuse to acknowledge Danding's role in stealing coco levy funds and then using those funds to buy shares of San Miguel and United Coconut Planters bank. Safe to say that half of La Salle's championships most likely belong to the Filipino people, considering most of those championships were acquired when Danding was the school's biggest patron.

Man, I think Coach Topex just might have made a mistake releasing Matt Jucom in favor of Dungo. I think La Salle needs a shooter in Matt to complement KQ and Mike. Putting Dungo alongside Jacob and Amos is a perfect fit for his growth. I'm sure he will play heavy minutes there.

Matt was reportedly too slow on defense and he didn't fit the run and gun style DLSU needed.

Dungo is a good shooter with lots of upside. Remember he hit 5-5 3 pt FGs on his birthday in the first round. He just needs confidence. Mike screamed at him to take more shots last game for crying out loud.

Balogun only entered the game in the 3rd quarter. Meanwhile, Godslove Nwadube is also a bench warmer, albeit in division 1. This is an overlooked reason as to why Ateneo's season is basically a nightmare.

Does ateneo have low budget now that they cant afford a decent fsa, that balogun was awful bad..

IAteneo has 0 depth at center but still choose not to play Balogun. That should tell you something about his level of play. Next season, if they don't move on from him, we'll find out if his play is due to the injury he sustained over the summer (which led him to missing almost all of preseason prep this year), or he really just sucks.

I forgot that la salle is benching konov this season hahha

Frankly I think he joined the team too late to properly integrate himself. Plus, he got injured in his first preseason game with DLSU.

Same thing with Mahmood.

Coach Norman will be a good replacement for CTB for sure. A Louie Alas and Norman Black will be a good tandem for Ateneo if it pushes through.

If theres one thing the PBA playoffs taught us, its that 3 pt shooting reliant teams eventually run out of steam once the defense starts tightening up.

Looks like ateneo has 3 choices to choose from should they decidr to replace Balo
