UAAP season 87

Come to think of it, why don't the UAAP utilize the home and away format. I mean all of the team has their own court. Kinda like the US NCAA.

They should try that next year.. dunno with some uaap teams. they don’t have a similar court like UST

Only UST, Ateneo and NU (through MOA) have courts that have more than 3,000 seating capacity.

But I like the look of the Quadricentennial Pavilion.

My alma mater wasted the Falcon Gym. They could put atleast 2,000 seats there.

Ust qpav looks like a venue for a b league/korean game
Qpav can accommodate up to 5k spectators,

Too bad only ust and ateneo has a homecourt that could accomodate a large crowd (though dlsu through lsgh has one)

NU can use MOA Arena as their homecourt hehe.

Adamson has a decent gym.

For DLSU i thought Razon can accomodate fans? what is the capacity of Razon?

UP just built a gym. they should have just put some seats.

UP could have had a big gym with that 493-hectare campus if they want too.

UP and the Falcon Gym need retractable bleachers to accommodate more people.

Could be built through ppp and have it rented out for private events so it could generate income for the university

Actually, Ateneo and UST could lease their gyms for other leagues. I don't know why they are not doing it. That's an additional revenue.

Probably for security purposes. In my time in ust, the guards there were really strict. Probably want to maintain its condition as well.

UST for all its talent plays some bad offense. They don’t know how to use Kyle Paranada as well. Rare player here because he shoots of the dribble that usually bodes well in the uaap

Ateneo's final 4 chances pretty much alive. FEU, ADU, UE would be winnable. An upset against either DLSU or UP makes it better

Blue Eagle Gym is currently under renovation. It’s about time.

Razon cannot accommodate spectators at all. It’s really just a practice gym for athletes. Though DLSU can use Rizal as their homecourt lol.

FEU, UP, UE and Adamson would also have no viable venues.

They should change pido

I think we also have to factor in that the gym is also the building for the IPEA students thats why their strict with other students/people going in and out of the vicinity

I was at the Blue Eagle Gym two years ago and I sweat alot after an hour. The gym has ventilation which I find to be useless. They should put an air condition there instead.

Per Adamson, UE, FEU and UP gyms, they need telescopic, retractable bleachers.
