Montebon, Calisay, Anabo, Eli Ramos, Manzano, Ojarikre, Barasi, AJ Fransman and Mantua will be the Adamson holdovers next year.

Next year, we will have Competente, Perez and Demisana. Adamson should have a better season next year.

What happened pala to Jaymalin?

admu ust ue looking like the last two teams to decide the f4. ADMU look different with Koon they at least have size on the wings with him.

Eli Ramos is in his last playing year this season.

I havent seen much Ateneo games but I have a feeling that PG defense is also a hole in their game since Padrigao left. Padrigao is not a defensive stopper but he is 6 foot and IRC not a defensive turnstile. Belangel IRC was decent defensively and Matt Nieto before him was a good defender. Espinosa is undersized. Bahay’s defensive laterals are suspect IRC.

I think everything stems from not having a big defensive 5. Their only win was when Porter was the mvp which means the 5 held up well. His effort is commendable but he is undersized and very young.

The lack of that rim protection and big rebounder is taxing all the others to keep scrambling and double their effort. By endgame time, they're all pretty much worn out. Bahay has the added burden of being defended by the best perimeter defenders, full court most of the time. Happens with Porter too who has to contend with bigger guys and FSAs the whole game.

Yeah size is something Ateneo lacks this season. With the departure of Amos, they got even smaller and less talented overall.

I think they have a solid guy in Tuano but he needs to get better defensively. Despite what the numbers will you, I'm high on Jared Bahay. He's a capable playmaker. Once he gets seasoned, I think he'll be in contention for point god status.

Something tough for Bahay’s sake is he doesn’t have anything elite size wise or athletically. He’s smart and can shoot but he looks more Jerie Pinggoy than Kiefer Ravena out there.

I had the opportunity to watch the back to back games between the Lady Archers and the UST Tigresses and the Lady Eagles vs. The Lady Tams yesterday during my usual Sunday morning couch time

it's my first time to watch a whole game of a UAAP womens game this season hoping it won't be the last( no more Severity Level 1 issues please)

I was totally entertained of the first game and one thing I've noticed, coach Heidi Ong's game plan is still the "Gold Standard" of Womens basketball alongside Coach Pat's NU days.

almost the same approach "plakadong-plakado", in fact if you watch our Gilas girls scheme "sakling-sakli"

both team hasn't paraded any FSA for that game and it was very competitive from 1st QTR to the last 6 or 5 mins of the 4th QTR

wherein the girls of coach Cholo Villanueva succumb to the "whole game pesky full court defense" of the Tigressess " naupos na parang kandila ang mga Berde".

during the final minutes of the game

I totally agree that Kent Pastrana is already ripe for Gilas call-up, I like the BBIQ and the length of that girl

having her and NU's Angel Surada on the team makes it very interesting both has almost the same physical attributes "parehong mahaba".

as for that Fil-Brit 5'8 or 5'9(?) Luisa San Juan of DLSU, that beauty looks promising, she needs to improve her lungs to cope up with that dreaded full court defense of the opponent

hoping that she may eventually lost some baby fats and make herself leaner moving forward.

as for the Lady Eagles well that twin tower combination of 6'0 Kacey Dela Rosa and 6'3 Sarah Makanjoula will certainly creates so many mismatches as the season progresses.

also, I'm looking forward on how Shane Salvani and Josee Kaputu plays but unfortunately one of them was serving a suspension and the other one was smacked with that

dreaded ACL..ouch na aray pa!!

well, I think Kasey should practice more on that mid-range jumper esp. in that baseline, those piso-piso shot is an effective weapon in the international tourney

also, she badly need to improve her lungs, it seems that most of that time she's gassing up everytime the Lady Tams runs their fastbreak game.

as for the Nigerian FSA, well my first impression, she is long and runs the floor well in fact in some sequence she outruns the PG of the Tams during fastbreak

she's fast and seems to have a good attitude and I dunno if it's true but according to some, she's brainy academically.

somehow a good candidate for naturalization? let's see..she's very active in combat rebounding and putbacks

and that impresses me just like UP's Favour.

Cignal should really expose more on woman basketball,

the handles of those players are quite smooth and tight compared to yesteryears "malaki na ang improvement sa totoo lang po Sir Mets and ain't boring no more".

continuity after each season...they badly needed that.

This DLSU team is at its best when its guard play is on

Which is why they're hit or miss. Guard play is unreliable.

I don't know why the coaching staff still insists on giving significant minutes to Ramiro against speedier and more crafty guards. He always gets lost on defense.

Also, instead of being a positive, Austria's return kind of skewed their rotations a bit.

Best DLSU five together on the floor for me remains to be KQ-Mike-Joshua David and two of Macalalag/Abadam/Gollena (or one of Marasigan/Austria depending on the opponent).

Konov, who didn't play all game long and wasn't in rhythm all season long, hit a three off of a horns action.

It's intriguing to see what happens if he gets more minutes.

He doesn't seem fit (yet) to me, plus he came in a bit late to the team. Sorta like how Amos was with Ateneo last year.

I don't know about you guys but it seems to me that both Konov and Amos look soft. Probably, fielding them both in the court might create big defensive liability for DLSU.
