UAAP season 87

Forthsky Padrigao seems to have tamed himself as he now plays a more disciplined game with hardly any ill-advised shots other imprudent moves. He's an interesting prospect becoz I think he's at least 6 feet hence he is a good size point guard.

At least unti-unti naring dumadami ang mga point guards standing at least 6 feet in Philippine basketball.

Let's not forget his last season with admu. They came off a championship loss to UP and SJ abruptly leaves to go pro (almost a guard rebuild also losing Tio and Mamuyac). Prior to that season Padrigao barely played. The team had to change their offensive system close to the start of the season because the players can't get it. So a lot depended on him.

Defending champ UP was basically intact and looked really formidable.

He then proceeds to be the best local player winning that championship.

That was the year he made the leap. He's a bit rusty from the layoff but without the offcourt shenanigans, he should be on the list of Gilas PG prospects.

I think it's only him and KQ occupying the highest tier for young locals when it comes to bbiq, vision and feel for the game. Pay attention to their eyes and calmness when they play, they're several steps ahead in their mind.

Nate wasn't as aggressive as he is now. He was a pass first guy. He's a scorer now.

What cost them the most was the Penny departure. He was getting minutes already with Nonoy and Nelle in the line up.

While Alao had me intrigued the most, as I was told he was a very good scorer but just kept getting injured.

Of the three, i also believe montecillo to be the best fit for this year's team. They need someone that would take ball handling and playmaking duties to make life easier for KQ and company. He's been that this year for his team and more. Penny has been on and off on offense for san beda this year, but on defense, he's been terrible. Alao naman is more of a pointss guard rather than a playmaking one.

DLSU loves to gamble on both ends. Looking for steals and the home run play on offense.

Over the season - Gollena , Dungo and Macalalag looked much improved

Up on the other hand plays physical d and QMB is always in the best position to be on the help side. You can see hes played probably more college games combined than half the roster of FEU.

For them QMB, Cagulangan Lopez and Adabiano have improved as well

ceu a bunch of scammers with balogun and agunanne

Cash earning university lol, the stats and performance of the FSAS were inflated in a weaker league

anyway, i hate this uaap timeslot, so freaking late

Its malick diouf's fault, played too well for UP, led every one else to believe that every ceu fsa is just as solid lol

not sure why the collegiate institutions agreed with this, if viewers are expected to be mostly students, do they want said students to stay outside till 10pm and go to school early tomorrow. boneheaded decision

While there are likely more alumni viewers for ADMU, UP, and DLSU, I personally only watch via Pilipinas Live. Other schools seem to have similar viewership, and I haven’t noticed significantly more empty seats on the box side ( based on watching online)

No wonder there is another import for dlsu in residency. Agunane is worse than Nwanko.

If Dlsu loses they can blame Topex for bs-ing around and benching KQ.

UE actually playing hard , scrambling, taking a lot of 3’s. Is a coaches recipe for an upset .

KQ was struggling with his shooting just to pull DLSU closer with 28 seconds to go.

Yeah they looked flat to start the game. DLSU is missing Nelle badly. Without KQ, the offense is just pedestrian at best
