Gilas is betting on the fact that KQ works really hard. Look at his improvement from Year 1 to Year 2 in DLSU.

Kudos to the guy for his hard work & dedication. If only Kobe Paras has the same work ethic as KQ, Kobe Paras would have been a key player of Gilas & a star Asian import in the B-league for sure.

I just wonder why Mason Amos did not play for La Salle in the recent WUBS? Is he injured?

Only the UAAP 87 eligible players are allowed to play. Mason Amos together with Kean, Jacob and Luis are in residence.

Kobe Paras is a hopeless headcase. His good looks led to his basketball downfall. He knew he could still make money and bed models and actresses even if his basketball career goes up in flames.

Kopar accidentally went into basketball. He looks and behaves like a bulugang baboy. Namana ba?

A Kobe Paras with a KQ work ethic would be a 4 year USNCAA player atleast. If only KQ has Kobe Paras inborn athleticism.

It would still take more than that though.

Neither of them have handles and defensive laterals that can make them true wings at the international level.

Year 3 will show if there’s really more to that, or if we might have hit a ceiling.

6'11 Henri Agunnane finally made a breakthrough in his final game in the WUBS. His skills are on full display in this tournament. The best FSA in the coming UAAP.

The Korean team didn’t have an FSA, it was a mismatch at Center even for Mike. Against Taipei with two FSA’s alternating, he struggled. Perhaps an upgrade from Nwanko but definitely has yet to prove himself in the UAAP.

Personally, Momowei is still my top FSA for the upcoming season but since there isnt a lot quality in this batch, he and and UP's Ududo could be in the next tier.

I completely forgot about Josh David. I think he is the odd man out with Rubico now eligible to play.

If he doesnt heal time then yeah, but dlsu needs all the experienced guards they can have for this season. Just having Ramiro and Rubico will not cut it.

Is it true that Andy Gemao and his fam has moved to canada? So looks like he wont be UP anytime soon.

Maybe temporary as of now, permanent if he got to a D1 program. He has really nowhere to go if he won't play D1. Unless he decides to go pro, but where? BLeague? Canada? Who knows.

Bigger question is where will he play for now. Coz he needs to be showcased while he still has a year of hs ball left. Im not sure if he's still with veritas.

Based on the post, Royal Crown Basketball. It plays on the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association, but I don't really have no idea if it is the program to go for D1 plans.

I think the U18 stint will be crucial for his D1 dreams. He really needs to lead the Gilas U18 to U19 WC to showcase his skills with scouts furthermore.

Hmm upon research looks like that league is one of the, if not the best prep league in canada. His new team also won the finals last year. Hope gets big minute and major usage. It does seem like a couple of former players do end up in d1. Some even in the gleague as part of ignite.

Care to share who are the players that are part of Ignite? They do really have good program as some of their players are part of the youth team of Canada NT.
