De Luna kept it close with his shooting until leaving at the start of 3rd quarter. Looked like he was cramping, admu only had 8 players in uniform.

This further solidifies my gut feel that UST might go full time on the one and done / two and through route while they try to rebuild their grassroots program

They already have the phenom boys(dungo, loreto and company) from beda and racine kane already with the tiger cubs so im guessing they'll be elevated once the one and dones graduate.

Goes to show that RSA likes Long hair. What marketing purpose can the UST team serve for SMC? Maybe I just dont like the guy but I dont really see any basketball knowledge or wisdom from long hair. His Tanduay team underachieved despite having the most dominant frontline in the PBA ever with Alvarado, Menk and Hatfield. The way SMC teams were officiated and played against each other looked beyond fair play. RSA doesnt seem to care by the underhanded methods his teams win as long as they win. Now he rewards long hair. Letran had its own controversial calls that culminated in player grabbing or poking CSB players ass, to get into his head.

Well money at least means talent will come. Lets see how they develop players and how their coaches coach. I just hope that the biased calls that followed Long hair from the PBA to Letran doesnt reach UST.

I remember that Letran-CSB series. Jesus Christ, that game 1 was really bad. Oczon gets injured on a landing spot foul, and that's not a foul. Not a regular foul call, but no foul call at all. Jeez, man. And add to that, in a lot of times that CSB got hammered, no call. And every time a CSB player breathed on Letran, it's an automatic foul call. I hardly complain about the officiating, but that was a complete joke.

And the Letran fans have the audacity to complain about biased officiating when the refs called it more evenly in Game 2. Jesus Christ. These guys also shout "iyakin" on clear unsportsmanlike conduct. Motherfucking assholes.
 
Ateneo now 3-1. Dropped a game by 4 to Gold Coast Rollers but beat a college team and 2 other NBL1 semi-pro teams. Winning margin against North Gold Coast Seahawks was 25, 96-71.

Yeah that game 1 really winnable even besides the trashy officiating for csb, if these guys didnt cramp up in the second half, it could have been a different story.

Anyway i dont think long hair would have that much power with all the bigtime backers the other teams have. He may have control in the ncaa, but uaap is a whole different ball game. Looking forward to see how he fares up.

DLSU is bankrolled by the Davao group of Mans Carpio, the Romeros, Dennis Uy (Phx Petroleum) and I think SMC is still in the mix through the Villasenor group (someone correct me on this)

oh, are they related? i never looked in to that. The villavicencio who backs DLSU that I know of is Vicvic of triple V, Dads, kamayan, and now the his kids manage Sombokojin (spelling?) and similar all you can eat buffets.
