As soon as I saw that Naveen was the one who broke the news, immediately assumed something was gonna be up. Naveen despises Ateneo and ADMU sports, he's only been able to hide that side of him recently. It's why he's never in the know with most ADMU recruits, including Demisana, Celis and Asoro this year.

let's see. if there's no plan for him he should have been cut by now. Anyway he is only 19 and his family is well-off so not desperate to move.

0-3 in Filoil Pre-season Cup (Lost against DLSU, NU, and UP)
1-0 in Pinoyliga Cup (Barely beat San Sebastian)

Is it something to be worried for?

that is normal. when I was still studying more than 2 decades ago, UST barely joins any preseason leagues. i dont know the reason now, but before, its so the players can attend summer classes to catch up whatever they miss once UAAP starts.

overrated pre season league and besides teams like ust you dont want to over expose them.. its like you dont over expose chris camus or enzo subidos unpredictability..and as if back in the 90's ust guys play for Stag?
 
remind me of UE performing very great in offseason, then suddenly collapsing during the regular UAAP season. Seems that the Warriors would always peak during the preseason tournaments

No they didn’t join any tournament this off season not even Pinoy Liga.
 
Damn, Francis Lopez should be playing US D1. His development is hitting that sweet spot.

They already won against san sebastian the game before. Its on their site and fb page at pinoyliga. If im not mistaken they're bracketed with NU and DLSU there as well so they're gonna have rematches with them.
 
not to make any excuses for ateneo because they really have an underwhelming roster compared to dlsu and up, but they have been off basketball for may due to finals. i don''t think ateneo will be this bad but i'd still rank them 3rd/4th in the uaap.
 
In watching their games, you can tell their new filfors havent yet acclimated to tab's system and the way the game is being played and called locally but still are promising. Hopefully their rematches against NU and DLSU in pinoyliga will be much more competirive and CTB would use team A's lineup.

I always keep saying this before that this kid is special, he just need a proper guidance and motivation to be at his best. If he keeps on improving his outside shot, ball handling skills and overall court awareness, sky’s the limit for the lad unless his father are already matured enough not to dip too much of his fingers for the kid’s overall development.
