Like last year, I think Ateneo is not using these local tournaments as their primary preseason preparation.

We'll probably see a more complete lineup/pool when they compete and train in Japan and Australia.

Kinda feels like these guys will redshirt for a year rather than waste a year of eligibility sitting on the end of the bench. Jackson, on the other hand i hear, is having cold feet. He's 50/50 on coming over.
 
Tab Baldwin will try to win games but this preseason is time to audition who among the 16-17 players in the pool get elevated to varsity. As many as 8 spots are open, the spots of Fetalvero and Ong are up for grabs. My personal opinion, 4 spots of the 8 are lock for Obasa, Amos, Gamber and probably Demisana. Not sure if any of the Pinoy high school recruits make varsity this year, maybe only one. The rest are for future delivery. A Fil-import or two may be disappointed not making varsity.
 
Sean Alter is not part of UP's line up in filoil? Or he hasnt graduated yet?

Dont see any of these names in ateneo's lineup today. Koon not in uniform. Bongo, brown, opena and tuano playing.
 
these fil-fors are raw af except for amos. they should give celis,demisana and asoro a chance.
 
Ateneo looks rusty, while Up seemed to figure out their rotation. Hope to see ateneo's pinoy hs recruits in pinoyliga.
 
Even a grade 1 basketball player know that UP should keep mark belmonte, when you have roster spots for cyril gonzales's abadiano's alarcon's(yeah hes playing well)
