UAAP season 86

It does look like that but he was still with UP in that UP Varsity Sports Center opening ceremony. Safe to say he isn't going anywhere unless of course, SMC takes a chance on him and lure him to UST.

Baligtad. I think Lina's camp is the one who is looking for a place to go to. Sayang na sayang talaga sya sa UP.

Coronel is a project player .

I dont think he should go to a school expecting to play right away.

also dont go to dlsu hes too similar to policarpio .

For all his warts Nwanko will be better next year.
Hes not as bad as it seems one full year of training he should he average as a fsa

Yes and this is why he?s also not being recruited actively (or at all) by DLSU. Loaded in that position.

He?s also injured and will likely not be able to play in S86 anyway.

A lot of schools have been contacting Pablo - San Beda, NU, FEU, UP, Ateneo and La Salle. IF I were him, I'll make it a bidding war. HAHAHA
Kidding aside, I think he's better off with UP and FEU. If UP does get him, I hope he gets extra offensive training right away via Better Basketball. I think Goldwin will love his playing style since he's pretty consistent especially defensively. Would be a great proof of concept if he turns Pablo into a legit two-way threat playing 3.

Actually, a tweener forwars isn't that bad. Hope he can be good enough to switch to the perimeter. Not necessarily play wing, but quick enough to switch onto quicker guards and wings.

Which schools apart from Ateneo and UP can develop 6'7" mobile players into tweeners rather than bigs, though? Maybe CSB, with the way Charles used Gozum as more of a tweener than a true big?

La Salle has Nacua, right? He and Coronel are similar players. They might complement each other, but yeah, too many players at their position.

It's DLSU. They recruit everyone cos they can. Getting in the lineup is a different story.

I consider KQ as a tweener too. He's not 6'8 - he's closer to 6'4 as Poli is actually much taller than him. But he has the talent to play a little bit of perimeter and post.

Quiambao better improve his laterals. He has to compensate for his lack of height with versatility on defense, along with his length.

I actually believe he can. He played perimeter for Strong Group last night. It will be up for CTR to mold him into a 3. Offensively, he needs a consistent 3 ball and he'll be dynamic.

Imagine a line up with Nonoy, Earl, KQ, Poli and Mike. They'll put so much pressure in transition.

Since when did Isaac Danting joined Ateneo? Hoping he makes the cut next season together with Asoro and Celiz.

Shooting is an issue with that lineup though.

That's a potential positionless lineup. Hope they can defend the perimeter eventually, and then Topex can mold Policarpio into a wing, whether at 4 or at 3. Maybe Quiambao as well.

Danting currently doing residency. Ateneo, pool is large, 26 players not including the Cebuano players and Josh Nieto. I think Espinosa is the only former AHS player that may have a chance of making the roster. Blue Eagles will be team Fil - something for the next 2 years.

Sir is there any bigman that Ateneo is recruiting? I think they're one big man away from being a favorite. I'm curious about what Asoro and Celis can offer.

bigman position will be the biggest problem for ateneo unless they bring in konov and mahmood here which is a possibility might as well recruit savorro from cebu to shore up the frontcourt.

Konov should aim for D1 (he definitely has the chance) and not transform into a bigman. Even in the US, guys with his length who can shoot are valuable. His goal should be somewhat of a Duncan Robinson or Yuta Watanabe type of player. He won't be able to hone that if he goes to Pinas.

I think for the bigman position, getting Ange type of players from africa is a better option.

Ive said this before when people were talking about La Salle. No reason to transfer now vs the end of the semester. Practice first with the team, see where you are in the pecking order then transfer if needed.

third term of dlsu just started and it ends in april. by the end of term players will already have an idea if they are inside the rotation or not of topex robinson. marasigan and gollena is good enough to bump out blanco, macalalag, david and galman.

manuel, austria, abadam, andres and in the future nacua all play the same.

Manuel is graduating. Batchmate of Dave in Ateneo.

Gollena? I can see Vhoris due to his immense athletic ability but Gollena AFAIK is just a defensive player with good size but he's limited offensively. Plus they already have that player in Jcee, who might be smaller but he's a slasher and has a year under his belt of college ball over Gollena.

Ice is a knockdown shooter and as tweeted by Winston, he believes Ice and Joshua David are the two best catch and shoot marksmen on the team last season.

Problem with Ice is that he's not big enough to play anything else but a PG or an undersized SG and his handle is too shaky to help bring the ball up while David is a swiss army knife and the fact that he can shoot, he seems to have a ton of upside.
