UAAP season 86

I don't see how Topex will make the adjustments to beat UP in game 2. La Salle is KQ's team and UP has exposed him in Game 1 by throwing shorter but strong players in Torres and Alarcon who can disrupt his passing. UP also sends Lopez, Torculas, and Belmonte if KQ wants to use his size inside. La Salle's only hope is Phillips but UP already picked that option and they're willing to get Phillips get his numbers as long as they limit KQ. Phillips finished with 19 points, but La Salle still lost by 30.

KQ isnt a natural scorer . He doesnt really have go to moves like that. Hes an amazing player to have in a motion offense with his passing and shooting. He would be great in Gilas when hes not the focal point. Him staying might do him good to get more chances to make plays and mistakes instead of probably riding the bench in japan.

Agree with this sentiment, even collegiate stars like Tamayo dont even get consistent minutes, its much harder for big men to crack the rotation since theyre competing with world imports and or national team prospects, just make sure youre unstoppable (to some extent) in UAAP (or ncaa for that matter) to even consider going overseas.

He used to have a reliable teardrop shot but it totally disappeared. He improved his outside shooting but his midrange game all but vanished.

He was short arming a lot of those last year. The ue game he must have missed like 5 . He just stopped shooting them weirdly enough

Gani Stevens with a huge 20-20 game in the Pinoyliga Cup. UP has a good problem here

well-deserved by k-quiam

nice to see mac cardona and mike cortez together again

I thought the 2-12 start with Poli starting was going to be disastrous. But DLSU stepped up its 3-point shooting and offensive rebounding which gave them several double digit leads.

Good adjustments so far by Topex.
