Seeing Joaqui Manuel play is like watching Joshua Webb all over again. Nauuna ang yabang. Hindi matanggal ng DLSU players yung yabang. Parang last Season 85 prior to the tournament, Nelle was asked what’s his team chances and said to the effect that “we’re number 1”. And they didn’t even make Final Four that season.

I think Alarcon's pro-ready at this point. Already showing something as a shot creator. He might need to work on his PG skills, though, as he's 6'1".
Not gonna be surprised if he and Francis go pro already. Part of the reason why I also like UP's model of recruiting a bunch but letting them leave early as well when the opportunity comes.
Next season, guys like Diouf, JD, CJ, and probably Lopez and Alarcon won't be around anymore.

Not sure if he's pro-ready. 6'1 PG is a bit difficult even in the PBA. He's lucky if he goes to a team that allows him to transition to PG. I don't think he can get in the KBL. He's PG size but PG skills are not there yet.

If you dont play and act comfortably . “ Wala mangyayari sayo” You cant have hiya when you play.

They are no Mac Cardona, Arwind Santos or Calvin Abueva. These guys can brag and trash talk all game long because in the end game they contribute and lead their teams to victories. They contribute when the game is on the line and on the games (final four & finals) that mattered most. Evidence are the MVPs and championships they won.
While the mentioned DLSU players, when the game is on the line, don’t contribute. Worse they turned the ball over (Joaqui) or make bad shot selections (Nelle).

All elite players have supreme confidence, it is absolutely necessary. Some just have the personality to be demonstrative while some are not.
But not all who have supreme confidence are elite players. There are a lot of irrationally confident players (which sometimes makes them better than they are).
Then there are the ones who do not know/believe how good they are, when the mental/confidence level is unlocked, they go on another level.
That's why coaches always emphasize the mental part of the game.

I hope lopez stays, still abit too raw to be an import, same goes to KQ, they can learn more by staying rather than being put in the spotlight right away

DLSU outscored by 18 points in the 3rd. They are in trouble and they are supposedly the more experienced team.
UP still have a lot of their championship rotation, though. Abadiano, Alarcon, Cagulangan, Cansino, Malick, and Fortea. Gonzales and Torculas went to the Finals last year. Felicilda and Torres are in their 3rd playing year. Pretty experienced themselves.

Yeah. He needs the PT. The UAAP comp is not bad. Im not sure how much PT he’ll get in B league or KBL though. I havent seen his games much but I assume his def is still a work in progress?

Although Amos still has a lot of development ahead of him, if they just need a tall guy to stand in the corner and shoot 3s (like how it is with Tamayo) then Amos can already do that effectively.
But for his improvement, I think he's better off staying put. He has the chance to be a main guy as soon as next year. Experience that role/responsibility first, try to win a championship, then go on to the next level. Tamayo's timeline is ideal.
